Niech żona Ci to przetłumaczy. Pozdrawiam. Myślę, że jesteś dobrym, wrażliwym człowiekiem.

Hello, I have been following you because of your Dimash reactions and you are one of my favorite reactors now. I am from Poland, I love Sabaton, the same I love Nightwish, these are two my favorite metal bands (I am not much into metal music though, especially not into death metal, I hate growling that they do). Thank you so much for doing this reaction. Warsaw Uprising is extremely important event for us Poles (if I heard and understood right your wife is from Poland or connected with Poland, so maybe you heard of it). Every year on the 1st of August at 5 pm in every Polish city you will hear siren sound and people will stop walking to pay tribute to those who fought and died for freedom in a really hopeless situation. This uprising had no chance of winning, insurgents did not have enough weapons comparing to German army. Fighter were often teenagers of even younger kids and like they side women, too. Commanders counted for help of Soviet Red Army stationed just on the other shore of the river Vistula (Wisła) , but for Stalin was not willing to help, because they were not supporters of communism and allied with UK and USA. So the army just stood and let the uprising bleed to death. This uprising lasted 63 days and ended with capitulation. Warsaw on the left side of Vistula river was completely burned and ruined and inhabitants who survived were expelled from the city. In this uprising (during 63 day while it lasted) were killed 150.000 - 200.000 people, nost of them civilians. If you did this I recomment song 40:1 about Battle of Wizna. Greetings from Poland - Karolina

Great reaction! This is what Sabaton does to you... Great music, but serious subjects. I've been chanting and singing along on their concert (Oslo, February 2020) but I still had mixed feelings about the things they were singing about. That's one of the things that make me love this band. Check out Sabaton's "No bullets fly" (official music video, animated). You'll love that story!

Sabaton is really amazing! You discover them for the music and stay at the end for the history. Really love your reaction I could instantly see in your eyes when the song started that you knew this story. And about the video on their history channel, I highly recommend that before you listen to song that you don't know the story behind that you watch their history video of said song. That way you will enjoy the lyrics in the same way that you enjoyed Uprising. And I have seen other people posting video of them watching the history video so you should be good. On that note I highly recomend that you react to No Bullets Fly. Sabaton just dropped an animation video of the song. And it is one of my favorite story of WW2.

Yes, almost all of their songs are historical from their album primo victoria (2005) to their latest great war (2019) mostly covering war. Right now there are two music videos that have historical context there are right now two these are: Night witches: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4qzoGuwedCpr5Y No bullets fly: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqTPgGBpfMyYpLs

Sabaton has a loooong list of history based music. A bit of advice, Sabaton videos are often have dedications (in memory of...) and/or messages (war know knows no...) at the end, so watching to very end is recommended. Actually, Sabaton have won awards for being educators of the public (not much money, but prestige), they have a history channel on KZbin where they talk about the history behind the songs (over 100 at present) and why/how they made the song/video. Animated STORY videos. short history lessons with music videos in them, followed by concuding history), you will likely have enough explained in these to get you interested to find out more. No bullets fly Night witches Lady of the dark Red baron epic ones (official not the lyric videos) Bismark, about the sinking of the ship Defence of Moscow, self explained Christmas truce, about the spontaneous truce in some parts of the western front during Christmas 1914 40:1, about polish soldiers, badly outnumbered (just under 750 in all) facing 42 000 germans, they where BADLY outgunned desperately defending against the German invasion 1939. Uprising, the Warsaw Uprising during 1944. (we just saw that) To hell and back, they tell the story of Audie Murphy (highly decorated) and his struggle AFTER the war, so about PTSD and drug addiction that returning soldiers can face. Fields of verdun, the 300+ day long battle fought there. Price of a mile, about the battle of Passchendaele in WW1 Screaming Eagles, about the battle of the bulge Royal guards and Livgardet in that order, they are partially intertwined and tell a story (Sabaton do that), both about the history behind Swedish Royal guards, written to celebrate the 500 year anniversary of Livgardet (Royal guards in Swedish). Unkillable soldier, Abou Sir Adrian Carton de Wiart. the acting deliberately simulates "plot armour" and acting⁷ in videogames/movies where hero never has bad outcomes to injury. he actually went through MORE in reality, survived plane crashes, escaped POW camp… served Boer war, WW1, WW2 and few minor in-between. Live performances. 40:1 from Poland Uprising, live from Poland. . En livstid I krig live from Göteborg Sweden (in Swedish but there are subtitles) ,very heavy again, about thoughts of a young man going to war. Swedish pagans, live from Wacken 2019 (with Tina Guo). these are just some, there are plenty more.

The Lost Battalion (even better if you have Diary of an Unknown Soldier play before) the drumkit which is used they made using the sound of guns and a bayonet; which gives a real haunting vibe to the song On another note Another song with Polish links; The Winged Hussars is another I can recommend (which is based on the calvary of the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth during the Seige of Vienna)

Ghost Division (ww2, Rommel's 7th Panzer invasion of France) Night Witches (ww2, 588th bombardment regiment, an all-female bombing group that flew obsolete aircraft but were devastating in hit-and-run bombings of supply lines and encampments) Lost Battalion (ww1, towards the end of the war a US division is pushed forward under false pretenses of support - ultimately surrounded and forced to hold off while suffering massive casualties) Firestorm (ww2(likely), firebombing of cities, probably Dresden but they never mention it by name) Into the Fire (Vietnam, think We Were Soldiers-type scenes) If you're looking for more about Poland, I'd *highly* recommend these; they're two of my personal favorites as well. The story of Poland is incredible, especially looking deeper into their circumstances and false promises, while they were seen by the allied powers at the time as a "testing ground" for Hitler's new army. They wanted to see how it performed, similar to how Hitler saw the Soviets invading Poland and Finland. Winged Hussars 40:1
