I will take this era over any. There was so much diversity in Hip Hop. It was cool to embrace your culture, intelligence and your own style. Everyone had a group to represent their lifestyle. The JB's don't get enough credit. Major impact on Hip Hop.

Absolutely love it. There was De La Soul. Nine Inch Nails was trying their thing. Madonna was her thing. Prince was making it right. And Ice T turned up. Heaven.

Done by the Forces of Nature is a stone cold classic! Golden Age Hip Hop at its finest!
Jungle brother we’re so underrated. Original members of Native Tongues. This is from Done By…their second album. I had this album on bootleg and lost it. It was a classic but it also got caught up in the time period when Brand Nubian 1st album, De La Soul is Dead, K Solo debut, EPMD Business As Usual and others classic Ms were out and JBs got somewhat overlooked. The video is great-epitome of what golden era hip hop was all about-creativity, culture, fun, lyricism, dope beats and people coming together. I mis this days. From 46 white guy who grew up during Hip hop golden era.

Is there anybody who has a timemachine? Instead of going on vacation to the Bahama's, i want to spend a month on vacation in this timeperiod in 1990. I would would really pay BIG money, if this was possible. I can't even believe, that i was lucky enough to be alive in this timeperiod at 15 years old in 1990. I think Millenials will never understand, how fantastic this era was, regarding the music and the vibe that was present at this time. I'm getting emotional about it when i hear this music, and for a brief moment feel the exact same vibe again as i making a trip back in 1990 in my head.
