Certain things are so restrictive that you don't know until delivery is attempted that you need some shit like 18+ year old signature, in person, can't deliver to a business, can't sign the note and leave it on the step, etc. So you have to miss an entire day of work because the time window you're given is "delivery will be made before 8:00 pm" on the website tracker. Congratulations, your $15 shipping option just became $15 plus an entire day's wages

If they lose your order call their 800 number and always escalate it up to a supervisor (one of the only companies I'll pull a Karen move on because honestly they fucking deserve it). They delivered my wife's insulin pump supplies and insulin to the wrong address and tried to say there wasn't anything they could do after a week of my Mrs trying to get them to her. It took me 3 days of escalating and then threatening to escalate it all the way to the ceo if need be as well as sueing them since it was well over 10 grand worth of vital medical supplies. They had that shit fixed on the third day.

Bro I have a life hack for you. If you can get the hubs number from a driver you can call and ask to meet your driver. I have like 5 ups dudes numbers and all of them willing to meet me. Sometimes I ask if they want an energy drink or something to drink. They appreciate it. If you're super cool about it, they really don't mind. I always get my packages about 11 am instead of having to worry about it getting stolen.

They'll make them go back and give it to you. I also had a driver deliver my package to the wrong house. I called the hub immediately and the driver had to go back get my package and deliver it correctly. It's better than dealing with their terrible customer service operators. Your whole point was useless and unnecessary. I guess I'm in the wrong for trying to help.

When I got my ps4 my mom told me someone’s gonna be at the door for a signature. They also kept delaying my package so that was a problem. I waited hours every morning and afternoon for my PlayStation 4. Eventually, the day it came was the day I passed out. So when I go to check my phone, I was advised that my package was here. I knew I was screwed from the beginning due to the signature I needed to sign from UPS. I check the door and the PlayStation is surprisingly there. Thankfully my USP driver didn’t care and just left the ps4 outside my door

As someone who delivered for UPS the drivers are pushed extremely hard given an unimaginable amount of stops. If they dont avg 20 stops an hour in cities they can be written up, always given a heavy conversation with management. Its the hardest but best job ive ever had. You can gps track your driver and be outside when you see your the next stop though.

So true. Had this happen when I bought my Apple Watch. Dude left a note on my door to pick it up at a local UPS hub, which ended up being an advanced auto LOL. So I go there, the clown behind the counter says we never got it, and that was that. I had to call apple multiple times to get it replaced, which as easy because the tracking number for the original one showed that it was clearly never delivered. It as a mess, took a few weeks, but eventually I got my watch 👍🏼

If you receive an info notice from UPS you should be able to sign the back of the notice, and UPS can leave it the next day. But if the package comes up as age restricted, someone of age needs to be there in person to sign.

That’s true for very few packages. Most of the time it needs to be a direct signature regardless if you sign the back or not I don’t even know why UPS puts that option on the back of the info notices when very rarely are drivers allowed to release if it’s signed

I’m a ups driver. That sign notice on the back of for a customers requested signature. If the shipper requires a signature, then an in person signature is required.

But with UPS earning billions of dollars in profit, you can expect employees to hate their jobs receiving little to no healthcare; no maternity leave for both parents; stagnant salaries; 1 week vacation days; probably no sick days, with stagnant salaries. DON’T track down drivers … complain to management … as in top level managing executives who’ve made life miserable for workers. Pocketing ALL the profits for themselves. Because we’ve been taught (by them) to blame each other.

I deliver for ups everyday. U can call the 800# and set a release for your package otherwise yes we will leave a missed tag for you to pick up or attempt again for up to 3 days. Unfortunately we are heald responsible for stolen packages which can lead to write up’s suspension or even being fired. It can be difficult since we deliver while most people are at work but ur best alternative is to call the 800# and put a signature on file giving us permission to leave ur package. Hope this helps

As an amazon delivery driver, I dont care if you answer or not. But I do care about your package being stolen. There are some excellent hiding places which I have found most effective in my time working. In a hose box. In the garbage can. On top of the roof.. you know. Its kinda like egg huntin. If the baddies find it, you know they kinda deserve it cause they put in that extra effort yno? Anyways I always take a blurry af photo that is questionable so as to make it super easy for the guy at the house. Unless they leave me cookies and iced cold water/soda.... hmmmmmmmmm then I make sure its a nice photo
