It was the lack of patience that hurt AEW more than anything else the last few years. The want for "who is coming in next?" and the unwillingness of fans to allow stories to develop and play out is what caused AEW (and TK) to rush everything the last few years leading to the constant trolling and criticisms which became a revolving door of critiques....now they (TK) is ignoring the trolls and critics and focusing on the show and as a result we are getting some great wrestling and entertainment..

Disagree. Christian is NOT a wimp. He was handcuffed, defenseless, repeatedly kicked in the nuts, and even smashed with a nail bat in the balls... and still didn't quit. It wasn't until he was about to be smashed in the head with the nail bat, which would kill someone irl that he did quit. That's not a wimp. That's someone smart enough to know when to quit.

Teeny bit disappointed we didn't get thoughts on Rampage too since it immediately followed Dynamite, and since we don't get any more AEW this week thanks to the NBA. Romero v Takeshita and the women's street fight were awesome!! It has some folks questioning whether AEW should do "3 hour Dynamites" and while I'm not sure if I agree with that long term, at least not yet, I will say that last night's 3 hours felt amazing, and much closer to a PPV than "just a longer version of Dynamite".

It's just fucking pointless to "unify" the 3 belts only to split them up a few months later and have almost no defenses. They also have the International Champions. So why have the the Continental breakfast championship, which is basically the same thing, but with no prestige.

I wouldn’t get bent out of shape about splitting up Eddie’s belts as the other 2 belong to New Japan and ROH and not AEW. Loved the TNT I quit match. Christian has a sprinkler for testicles now 😂. I don’t know if you saw the Rampage afterwards as the conclusion of the TNT title was at the beginning here in the States. The street fight at the end was madness and the ladies were excellent. Simon you should’ve given them their due.

absolutely love your up and downs videos 👏👏 it is truly the next best thing to seeing AEW live👍 six months ago I went to streaming only so I can no longer see AEW on TV, but I still try to watch the pay-per-view and obviously KZbin🎉 AEW comes every year to a arena about 25 minutes from my house so I have seen them live and had the absolute best time👏😎 You get a lot more show for your money at their shows❣️❣️ Back in the day, I went to a WWE show when I lived in New York and was extremely disappointed that was 30 years ago… Frankly, I don’t think they’ve changed a bit since then IMO

When Christan took that board in the balls, I was like, oh hell, you better have a hockey cup on. It looked like it stuck, and I was like, omg, that had to hurt. But the rest of the show felt like AEW just put on NJPW stars to help get things rocking. I am a massive NJPW fan and even fly over for shows when possible.

I’m hoping next week Kenny Omega comes back for a spot where he’s the new mouthpiece for TK (to counter the Bucks positions) where he declares the Continental Championship as non-contestable like the Owen Hart belt, and still belongs to Eddie as he won the tournament. Fixes the extra-belt issue and kicks off a KO v Bucks feud as he preps to get back in the ring
