Nah, they got a couple of really good ones, Simon just shines a bit brighter than the others because he's so darn lovable. In fact, there's only 1 What Culture writer I actively avoid. I won't name any names, but he's the kind of guy that trashes WWE every chance he gets while he would praise AEW or NJPW for farting on his dinner plate. He's also the kind of guy who goes out of his way to make unnecessary insults about legends like Kane and especially Triple H due to his personal opinion and bad 2nd hand information and still has the audacity to call himself a journalist. Like i said, i won't name anyone specifically because he's not here to defend himself but I'm willing to bet you can guess who I'm referring to if you've been using the website for a while tho. Outside of him, I think they got a pretty solid crew and honestly, he could be pretty good too if he'd leave his personal bias at home, stop with all the unnecessary cheap shots and quit writing like he thinks he's smarter than everyone else.

...and the element of surprise, that's what kayfabe was for, before the mid 90s! It kept the storylines entertaining, gave heat to the well defined then "heels" (bad guys) and cheers to the "faces" (good guys). Now, it's few faces, lotsa antiheroes, and majority of heels, as fans nowadays flipflop so quick, if a wrestler doesn't go the way they (the fans) "feel" He/She should, and SocMed comments seem to have huge sway over promotion creatives. Imo 🤷

They could not have done that debut segment any better if they tried and it's truly touching how dedicated they are to keeping Bray's spirit and memory alive. I also love how Bronson Reed went on twitter afterwards like "Hey Pierce, my opponent's for next week were murdered, does that mean I advance to MITB by default?"

I really hope the Wyatt Sick6 turns out to be awesome and pays great homage to Bray. I hope it lasts a long time and gets better and better as it goes. I am happy to see Erik "big Red" Rowan back in a major company. He is fantastic! I feel bad for Erik and Bo Both. Erik had Brody and Bray 2 of his close friends pass and Bo having his Brother pass I cant imagine how that must be. I just dont want to see this get watered down or turned into some hokey bs. Bray was a genius and if thats what it took to get Bo out of the slump he was in, it is still terrible and not ever going to be less of a tragedy. However hopefully we see Bo become a huge star as well as the entire group. They all deserve more than the McMahon era that was crappy for them all.

The Wyatt Sick6 segment was just so cool, I love horror, and I love when traditionally non-horror media try to incorporate aspects of it, or try to tackle horror but a lot of times I feel like it falls short, especially in wrestling. Horror in wrestling is always hit or miss, and it's polarizing because I feel like it doesn't connect with a lot of people, plus it's not usually done very well. All that being said, I feel like this is the first time, in a long time, that wrestling has done horror correctly. All the new camera and backstage stuff WWE has been doing made this debut work so well, this could have been straight out of a horror film yet it didn't come off corny or childish, and I feel like if i wasn't completely desensitized to stuff like this it would have been legitimately scary. The masks, the blood, the bodies, I feel like there is a portion of the audience that were probably left sleeping with the light on after this debut, and as a horror nerd that is just the coolest shit ever to me 🖤 ❤ 🖤 ❤

I’m not really into the spooky Wookie stuff anymore like when I was a kid. Honestly, anybody getting the win just by using their body as a pillow would be the most hilarious ending. 1. It makes the person look like a complete monster because they would have had to beat the absolute crap out of their opponent do so. 2. It builds the character as a badass but also as somebody that like to joke and have fun. It makes the character more rounded, and people always get behind well-rounded characters.

An interesting thing I noticed which has to have been planned was that the spookers group had their big moment right as Jey Uso was making a big point of his celebration. It meant when they turned the lights out, everyone already had their cell phone lights on, so it created the firefly effect I'm sure they're hoping becomes a thing for these guys.
