Man Christian did not feel good about throwing Darby into the steps the first time, for his safety. Chances are if the pro giving you the move botches it for your safety, They probably just saved your Life/Career. Props to Christian there.

Love Darby so much but they really need to force him to take it easy on his body. Christian Cage is the man! One of the all time greats in my book. He's putting out some of the best heel work I've ever seen. He deserves a run as the AEW Champion!

Edges debut in AEW left some WWE fans in pure rage and anger. It’s a shame that some people live only in their bubble. Christian, who reached his peak, and Edge will be nuts. But MJF and Edge without WWE restrictions could be another classic. There is so much potential here and it’s good for wrestling.

Weird. I'm a WWE fan, and I honestly don't care. Dude is a legend and had a great career, but he is 50 and his best years are behind him. I agree with him that he had nothing left to do in WWE.

Phenomenally entertaining PPV top to bottom. I felt like I was watching a horror movie through the Danielson ZSJ and TNT matches, how these people aren't literally broken is beyond me... The Edge debut was amazing, but coming off that what put it completely over for me was the scrum and just seeing how happy and excited he was to be in AEW bc that is some next level Positive Pete feelings that are going to be felt for a long time now!

I was there live last night and the pop when Edge came out was deafening. I was very much on the fence of Will He, Won't He, but as the match was going you could see in the entrance at the top of the ramp the stage hands were setting up more pyro. Yup, it's got to be. The show was so good, but it was also exhausting. Sometimes I wonder if there really can be too much of a good thing, but even after running the marathon holy crap Adam's reception was wild. My other highlight of the night? Swerve's match where he got more crowd support and love than any other match of the night IMO. His pop was second only to Edge. What a ride.

TK has a history of not capitalizing on some great turns, the acclaimed come to mind when Swerve and Keith Lee beat them that crowd was livid, Daniel Garcia looked like he was way on the rise after his run in with the BCC too but it went flat. He just needs to pull the trigger on the guys he knows can succeed and I hope him giving Swerve that win in that spot means he's gonna be getting the push he deserves.

Christian was actually noticeably apprehensive about blasting Darby onto the front of the steps back-first from the ring, and dropped him to the floor instead. He was like, "are you sure!?" and picked him up from ground level instead. Darby had clearly asked to be thrown *from the ring*, onto the steps directly...

I do not want to see FTR Vs The Young Bucks again. Aussie Open should’ve won.

They did a good job of showcasing lots of future stars, along with some of New Japan's best, and the HOF guys still putting in top notch work.👏 👏 👏

Hangman's new gear (which Swerve called him out for not getting sooner) reminded me of Shawn Michaels' infamous Survivor Series 2002 tights, complete with blue and silver trim. Do we call that shade "Cowboy Shit Brown"?

Not only was this the first time in a long time that I have seen my dad literally get up and say that was a great pay-per-view and one hell of a show but can we just appreciate that in the current time in wrestling we have seen the Hardy Boyz reunite we have seen The Dudley Boyz reunite and now edges and Christian are in the same show now as competitors it is just a insane thing to think about especially considering that one of each of those teams was possibly never going to wrestle again Devon had surgery and possibly could never wrestle again but he's back in the ring Jeff Hardy could have possibly never gotten back in the ring due to his addictions and Edge could have easily never wrestled again I am just so happy to be wrestling fan at now

Let's keep that theme music for the PPV and let's use this event to honor a different legend each year.
