@@ashishguru1684 They should be ready work even harder as more number of IITians and doctors are entering into this field so it is getting extremely tough for Non medical Non IIT Non IIM Non CA students to crack this exam..Becoz it is not 1000000 to 1000 students ratio(1000000 is the number of candidate who appear for the exam and 1000 is the number who get selected)..It is 4000 to 1000 becoz 4000 students are the doctors IITians NITians IIM students and CA....and they are the real competition...it is 0.1 percent for common students but for doctors and IITians it is 20 percent plus success rate to get into UPSC...

@@rajadutta9400 you are absolutely right, these iitians get used to hardworking at entrance level of IIT and will crack the civils easily. Just think about this when there intention was to get into civils they are not utilising the IIT seat which many people dream of. Infact, the same seat could have been a boon for IIT aspirant and he/she could have become great engineer. They actually wasted a IIT seat of somone who could have been a great asset for country in technical field. If civils is the proirity then IIT is not the only route there are plenty of ways out there. Thats it. Nothing against iitians.

During his graduation, he or she was able to find out his/her interest. And bureaucracy is not meant for some specific graduates. Its a kind of social service and everyone who wants to serve directly to the roots of the society, then he should give civil services. Don't argue unnecessarily that he is an engineer, he should opt for some engineering job. Why bro? I did my graduation in law but i am too god in dancing then can't i go for dancing career?*
