WOW Danny and Tim and Steve all gave the chow fun a 10. This place just made it to the top of my list. The seafood crispy mein looked very tasty. Tim & Steve left DTM to do all the narration while they were busy enjoying the various dishes. These dishes qualify for inclusion on a 9 course dinner.

The description of the fish dish reminds me of a dish I had in Hong Kong a long time ago. It's considered a Shanghainese dish, I think. Deep-fried, smokey, with sweet sauce. I don't think it's easy to cook it, that's why you don't see it around too much in restaurants.

Palette has two restaurants in the SF Bay Area where I live. The reviews are mixed. If you want to impress someone, it is the place to go. If otherwise, you want to have a more bang for the buck thing, find any traditional dim sum house, it will beat Palette in that regard. I personally visited the one in San Mateo twice, both were satisfying for me. I especially like the presentation of the food.
