2:45 As someone who was a cleaner for YEARS we don't clear out/maintain your fridges and people do expect you to. The reason we don't is the second we do start cleaning the fridges and throw ANYTHING AWAY that's moldy or spoilt milk and literally ANYTHING we get complaints that the cleaning staff are stealing their food, even when we say it was off/moldy/spoilt they do not care. So typically, cleaners don't clean or maintain your fridges because we'd be accused of stealing and it's not worth the hassle and also, clean your own damn spoilt food, you're adults lol

I worked as a housekeeper in a nursing home and part of my occasional duties(we rotated responsibility for the task because it was inevitably disgusting) was cleaning out the break room’s fridge once a month. Take everything out , spray with 103, wipe down. Anything that was clearly moldy or expired like long-forgotten coffee creamer or condiments, or, rather unpopularly, food without a name and date on it after the lunch periods were over, was thrown away without care for whose it might be. There was clear signage, after all, and good luck taking any complaints about the policy to my old boss… she was vicious 😅

I cleaned a college and all the teachers had fridges. We had to do the same thing. Like I'm not stealing your moldy milk, Linda. So we just don't clean them, also to avoid them, because of their scratched they'll blame us to get a new fridge and the cleaner gets written up, so no touchy fridges. Or anything they own 😅

i could tell you horror stories about my 4 months work at wallmart, or as i like to call it "hellmart". i worked as a cashier for 4 months before they sacked me because I “dared” to ask for sick leaves when I almost got Myositis on my wrists and left hip/leg for standing too long because they didn’t provide chairs for cashiers so we stay 9 hours standing and checking the products like madmen with a train of customers lining up with each shopping cart bigger and fuller than the next. I also got a warning for asking for days off for my college exams. Besides being told to arrive at 6 am in the middle of a tundra-like blizzard every 4 days during the winter, or the unnecessary mandatory fire drills where they force us to stand outside in the middle of January under -35 winter cold, I had my share of horrible, bosses, supervisors and customers. I remember pricing an item for a woman who came in with a blouse that had a smudge on it. it was very faint and almost unoticible. She said: “I want to take this one for free since it has dirt on it” throwing the blouse at my face. In a split second, I shielded my face with my hands as I couldn’t see what she threw at me because it happened too fast I thought she was going to hit me with a blunt object (getting hit by customers on the head is not uncommon in these cheap retail establishments). I stood there dumbfounded for exactly 10 seconds trying to process what had just happened. Everyone from the people behind her to my colleague in front of me to my supervisor who was behind me watching me like a hawk saw that. and no one did anything. In fact, they continued to look away at their phones and shopping carts and pretended they didn’t see someone was getting assaulted. I bet there are 3 or 4 copies of this blouse hanging on the racket that don’t have stains. but she deliberately picked the dirty one so she could pull off this stupid stunt. I tried so hard to swallow what little dignity I had and muster all of my strength to not attack her on the spot and calmly told her: “Ma’am, I cannot do that. If it’s not on sale, I cannot give you any discount”. She then looked at me like I had insulted her ancestors or something. I continued to check her items as I wanted to get rid of her as fast as I could. Come in the next customer who saw everything. Believe it or not, she wanted to pull THE EXACT SAME STUNT the first woman did! As I was checking her items she pulled off a shirt and said: “This one has a loose thread, can I get a 50% discount on it?”. I glared at her for exactly 5 seconds, dead in her eyes before she pulled her shirt away saying: “Never mind, continue” with a smug grin on her face. If there is any justice left in this world, I hope to live a day to see these retail businesses going bankrupt and obsolete. with the CEOs squirming in agony losing all their millions and instead gaining debts over debts.

On the body armored bags: MANY SCHOOLS IN AMERICA WILL NOT LET STUDENTS CARRY THEIR BAGS AT ALL AND DON'T TELL THE PARENTS THIS I went to three schools that had lockers that were always placed horribly, and two of them told us we could not carry bags, jackets, sweaters, purses, or extra books of any kind, they insisted we use our locker every passing period but most of us couldn't get to the locker in the 5 minutes they gave us due to the lay out of the school. One of these schools didn't have heating and I have lived in Michigan my whole life, where it is cold most of the year. Recently we had a bunch of secular trees cut down. The not so funny part is that activists got angry at the company who did it (a public upkeep company that manages the city's integrity) and said they shouldn't be ever again in charge of trees. Come to find out from the local news that the trees were risk C or D of falling which is why not all the trees were cut in the first place but also why some had to be cut fairly quickly. Because we love trees on roads, yes so nice and cozy! But we don't love trees falling on passerbys, cyclists, cars, buses etc. In fact they said recently the trees are going to be replaced by new trees. I absolutely hated the "I was _xyz_ years old" piece of paper activists left over a genuine issue that could've resulted in plenty of injuries. Some times the excuses people give are stupid or shitty or made up. But I can hardly believe a tree falling can be an excuse or made up but a serious issue.

Last Saturday I went to the beach and on my way home I decided to sit and wait under the bus stop thingy as two sketchy looking foreign guys came near me. This proved to be a very stupid idea. A spider that was light brown/golden came crawling on my tanning bed as it was resting against the plastic structure. I don't know what spider it was as googling it made me feel sick and scared and I didn't find any spider that matched. It wasn't super big like maybe half an inch or so if not smaller. Still pretty big for a European like me. And what was even worse is that the bus was about to arrive. It was some regional bus line that goes from my big city (Genova Italy) to a smaller town outside the city. So if I missed the bus because of this mofo, I would've had to wait 30 extra minutes. So I was debating between getting on the bus with this little fella on my chair hoping he doesn't decide to crawl over my hand and arm 🤮. Or make sure he leaves my chair. I tried the latter but this guy kept making spider webs to keep himself tied to my chair. Eventually before the bus came I was able to get him off of there, back on the structure and pulled the chair so hard to make sure any remaining web was destroyed so he couldn't be attached to my chair in any way. I had tried this before and this thing detached from the wall and was floating next to my chair and back on it. Sure my tanning bed is green but it's no plant you can leave.

9:00 on most unfuriating reddit posts im usually not commenting on for various reasons but at someone who is past the age of 25 and for many complicated reasons still learning how to be an independent person this infurriates me so much i just have to say something because it basically becomes personal. im putting in so much efford to learn things my mom should have taught me as a teenager and you cant look up anywhere because society just assumes once your an adult you know everything there is and people like her are out there, not even rinsing out with plain whater while im learning cleaning utensils and that women probably is also considerably older then me as well. its insane how someone can be old enough to have a child thats probably either teenager or an adult them self and she still cant look after her self, if it was a sudden change i have no idea what would trigger that but im even more dumbfoundled if it has always been that way. how can someone get up to 40 years old or maybe older and not know how to clean up after them selfs and then even specifically just the cups. its one thing if she never made food her self and doesnt know how to clean it up but the focus on the cups means she probably does everything else just fine but the cups which should be one of the most easy things there is for some reason arent getting done. im going to stop before i rant and angry yell even more but i hope it comes across how upset this makes me. a person who has a child unless they are elderly or have some sort of medical condition rendering them unable to do it should not have there own child look after them, more specifically it shouldnt be necessary.

Here in Illinois, cars are required to have a license plate on the front and back. So, it is state by state.

I looked up what age oak trees can get, because some trees legitimately don't live that long (eg apple trees), so perhaps this tree had to be felled for safety reasons towards the end of its life cycle. But no, oak trees can get anywhere between 600-1,000 years old, so this one would have had plenty of time left most likely :'(

I'm 6,9. I fortunately don't fly often. When I do, there is absolutely no way I'm not pre-booking an extra legroom space. And I'll want to know how much extra legroom. I'll make sure to have it on paper and I'll take it with me. I've seen those other seats. And the only thing I trust airline companies with is their capacity to carry me from A to B. And even that trust is one born from absolute necessity.

46:14 This is why you put a bit of hot water in the bottle. Of course you can’t do that with lotion, but that’s how you extend any liquid soaps/cleansers.

For people noticing their amazon cart being short a few cents, there are lots of products on Amazon priced for under a dollar. If you don't actually want the item when it arrives then donate it to a charity. I like to get craft items as charity shops are frequented by folks in my area who buy up cheap art supplies and donate them to prisons or nursing homes.

44:39 It isn't actually necessarily A.I's fault for this, there have been popular TikTok trends of people gaslighting and damaging the information that A.I systems like ChatGPT contain and since A.I changes and adapts depending on it's interactions to further improve it, not to mention that if it's told enough that it has incorrect information it takes it incredibly seriously. Someone probably gaslit the system into replacing the correct information with the incorrect one which only causes a major headache for programmers, because for some reason, people think it's fun to stress things out inanimate or not.
