UPY 651 Florin Flyer Local - (Closed) Ramona Ave. Railroad Croseing Temporary Setup Sacramento CA

Union Pacific Railrpad Florin Flyer Local freight train comes off the UP Fresno Sub onto the UP Placerville Branch passing through the temporarily closed and temp setup Ramona Avenue railroad crossing in Sacramento, California. Note the pedestrian signal has crooked lights from vandalism as since this has been closed for more than a year, homeless started using it as a camp side and they look to have been throwing things at the lights. Can't wait till they open this back up to traffic. Hopefully, the GS E-Bell not ringing probkem gets adressed when they fix the lights when the roadway opens back up. They will have to notice the bell by the lights not ringing
So far, after the Dec 31, 2023 & April 30, 2024 missed opem dates, the new date is May 31, 2024 as the new opening date of Ramona Ave BUT I wouldn't hold my breath on it as the roadway needs to be repaved and median curbs rebuilt and non of that has started meaning it will be pushed back again...
Ramona Ave was closed back in March 2023 a year ago due to construction above on the Fix 50 Highway 50 project and needed the road to be closed for UP to remove their north side southbound lanes crossing signal for a new collumn to be build in its place for the new bridge being built in the middle of the freeway above. That is now complete and even the section that hangs above the Fresno Sub tracks that was remaining being worked on a month ago is also now complete. However, the roadway remains closed past when it needed to be closed and open by now as the project doesn't involve Ramona Ave anymore yet they keep passing their own dates they keep setting as open dates. To make the open date more unknown, Google Maps has two seperate dates spliting the roadway in half which doesn't make sense saying the lane I'm standing in is supposed to be open sometime in June 2024 while the next lane over is supposed to be open Sep 2025. Sometimes, Google Maps has closure and open dates wrong as roadways in Sacramento before I seen Google Maps labeled closed but was open or open but was closed or had innacurate opening dates.
Since its been closed so long, the people that normally used this route after it opened in 2018 as a new roadway extension for the new communities back here and people that took the route to work are now on reddit voicing their concern about when this is opening back up as this closure detours traffic to Power Inn Rd and to 65th Street which causes more traffic on both traffic roadways. That will suck if they end up waiting till Sep 2025 to open this. There's no reason they should keep this closed as the neighboring roadway Redding Ave is in the same setup as Ramona Ave and isn't closed as its the same stretch of the Bwy project above plus many roadways in Midtown and Downtown were in the same situation and also were not closed. Whats the problem with opening this one and keeping it closed even though the part of the project it was closed for is done. The collumn is in and the bridge above mid section is built. Open the road back up! Its just sitting closed benefiting destrictive homeless camps next they are going to set something on fire like they always do.

The railroad crossing faults I have seen in recent memory, I report the issue to UP so they can fix it. It's very simple, you utilize the relay case emergency information, call the phone number on the box, and tell them about the problem, on which signal.

Oh and forgot to mention that when I left, their was a UP signal maintainer coming to the crossing. I haven't checked to see has the problems on the ped signal been fixed.
