Today we shall be elucidating the deeds of the disgraced Captain: Ur'zan Drakgaard.
Injured during the Badab War fighting the renegades oft he Astral Claws Chapter, the scars Ur'zan incurred would remind many of the demeanor of a son of the Gorgon rather than a scion of Vulkan.
Installed as the leader of the 6th Reserve Company: the Flamehammers, Drakgaard's lack of self-confidence would lead to many woes to befall his men whilst under his command...

If you look very carefully you will notice that Vulkan and Salamanders are not Africans (as is somewhat fashionable to represent them) but simply normal with volcanic ashen skin. But one similarity I noticed in them, if I'm correct, is Berber.

Normal Is a slightly wrong way to say it, the better way would be that salamanders have all kinds of races among their legion, i mean hell sa'kan Is asían in pariah Nexus and ur'zan here seems caucasian.

@@melvoso89 doesn't change the fact that he pretty much is still asian, any space marine can pretty much be of any race depending on what planet he was born from, how he was recruited and by which legion, for example the white scars being mostly asian because of their homeworld and their primarch plus their inspiration are the mongolians and genghis khan. The Salamanders i can see them having all kind of ethnicities caucasian, asian, african, indian, native american just as long as it comes from nocturne, but with all of them inheriting the black ash/charcoal skin and blazing red eyes.

0:39 Fire Angels vs Mantis Warriors there. During the Badab war the Fire Angels were fighting a losing battle against the Mantis Warriors until the Carcharadons arrived to take care of business, mauling everything in their path, civilians, Mantis Warriors and even their own "allies"; while the Fire Angels were unwilling to go ham against their enemies and the civilian colaborators since that planet was given to them as their prize the Sharks lacked such mundane worries, the void of the outer dark is their home and massacre is their only trade.

Too bad Black Library just abandoned that whole 'Circle of Fire' supposed trilogy after book number 1. I wouldn't care, but they totally sold it as a new Trilogy and then just kind of Oooops forgot about it. So no idea what happens to him, or the Black Legion, of that world and Sisters of battle. Story line had promise. Ur'Zan was also a total tool, ignoring the Chaplain repeatedly. Least likeable Sally in that book. Forget the name of the Dreadnought in it, now that Brother was a BOSS!!!! How can't you love a kind, polite Salamander Dreadnought who is also a beast!

Couldn't have put it better myself. It started so well, dammit. The preview for the second book was interesting too! Nick Kyme still says he plans to release it, but... Well, I'll believe it when I see it. Also, the odd friendship Brother Kor'ad and Colonel Redgage build is just wonderful and tragic. Genuinely shed a tear when Kor'ad fell. Thinking about it, Agatone and medicus Issak are great too. It's just a solid book for Astartes and baselines working together, which is always fun to see.

Yes! My guy!! My favourite insecure asshole! Man, I swear he was gonna end up in a Dreadnought in the next book. I'll always be sad Rebirth never got its sequel. Especially because it looked like the plot was going to involve the head of Ferrus Manus? Guess it probably wouldn't work now in the Era Indomitus.
