And then I see that I'm also playing against Tux, the same opponent with the same deck! So just for information, we live in the matrix! :D

@@amarauk9687 This is a brainlet take that you hold because you don't understand the nuance of what that addage actually means. If they die to significantly more efficient removal, the likelihood of a creature being bad is very high. That's why we got fire design creatures. Bad magic players just wanna turn dudes sideways and not really interact, so they pushed the value of the threats to be greater than the efficiency of the removal

Urabrask, The Hidden just seems like bad Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded. :/ Both give haste, cost five, and are mono-red, but Purphoros is hard to remove and can cheat creatures into play while Urabrask comes out a bit late for his second ability to impact the board much.

I'm curious about LVD opinion on this. Another difference is: the creatures cheated by Purphoros had to be sacrificed at end of turn.

I personally enjoyed playing Purphoros brawl last year as it’s more flashy and exciting than a traditional red aggro deck. It is significantly weaker against counterspells is the main drawback.

most games : commander is 4/4 haste for 5 mana, no other text. play mana, cast commander(+tax) until opponent dies. this is a silly format :P

Yes, I built a Purphoros Brawl deck about a year ago which is really fun. It plays a lot differently than a typical aggro deck so don’t think it quite fits here.
