How to install a C5 Performance ignition. Fits Ural and Dnepr OHV engines. We have M72 flat head kits also. Optically triggered, four timing maps, three sparks per compression cycle. American made.

Hey Paul - There are two arrow marks on the flywheel - one indicating TDC and one indicating the ignition timing. When you say "TDC" here, you actually mean the ignition timing arrow, right (the one without the dot)? My understanding is that's the actual spark point, and that you want that to be just before the piston reaches actual TDC.

Hey Paul, Mapping query. In Map 4(blue/brown ungrounded) limp mode. Would this map assist in kickstarting? Also...I assume one can switch maps on the fly?

Chad Burns all maps are the same at idle rpm. The most common isdue with poor starting is a lean carb. You can change maps while riding.

paky66 we don't have car systems any longer bur might in the future. There are 4 maps to choose from but you must create them. There is no self learning feature

Hi Paul, the russian ignition shown in the vid is wrong mounted to adjust right. You have to install the front drive plate so that you get a rectangular window at the springs.
