Thank you Kate, Thank you James. Life seems to take over.... and I haven't been to your channel to much lately. -This was an excellent tribute to Patti Astor. She was before my time, but this gathering to honor her and all the warmth that was said about her, causes me to look further into just who was this remarkable woman. ....🙂❤️ Also, the previous gallery exhibition was really terrific. I was able to recall many of those artists through past documentaries, and mentions.... Thank you so much for posting this really great, in so many ways, episode. Love to you both. Thank you Kate, Thank you James. ❤️❤️ Robin from Minnesota.

Hi Kate, I had an idea, to create a series of pieces based on all the exhibition catalogs you must have. From the most recent to the first. Greetings from Havana.

Here's a brief history of the mansion: Ranked among the nation's most important suburban art museums, Nassau County Museum of Art (NCMA) is located 25 miles east of New York City on the former Frick Estate, a spectacular 145-acre property in Roslyn Harbor in the heart of Long Island's fabled Gold Coast. The main museum building, named in honor of art collectors and philanthropists Arnold and Joan Saltzman, is a three-story Georgian mansion that exemplifies Gold Coast architecture of the late 19th century.

What artists did you know? How did you know them? How well? When was this? Where exactly? Please give deep details!

Roughly, this was in the East Village (south of 14th Street, East of 5th Ave., and above Houston Street in Manhattan), between 1980-1987. I worked for an art supply store in the neighborhood, Utrecht Linens. I made deliveries to many of these artists, or they came into the store to shop. I'd spend my lunch hours walking through the area visiting galleries, talking to dealers and sometimes artists. I got to know many of them, and was occasionally asked to exhibit with them. The list is too long to recount here. I've also written dozens of reviews on the NY art scene for the Brooklyn Rail. If you're interested in more info check out www.lorenmunk.com ...Thanks JK
