As a Texan, it's so weird to think of white winged doves as a lifer because they're so common in east Texas. I see them all the time!

I'm in East Texas and have been seeing these doves on my bird feeder lately along with them pesky brown headed cowbirds that like to eat all the birdseed lol!

Its always awesome when you can identify a lifer unexpectedly. We have Eurasian Collared Doves and Morning Doves.

I've always loved birds but never had much of an opportunity to go out to the country birdwatching. Since I watched this video last year I realized my own neighborhood in San Antonio is a great place to see birds. I've been hanging out at the creek a mile from my home once a week since then and seen some amazing birds. Thanks for the inspiration.

I live in Texas and still love seeing the Loggerhead Shrike. At a glance I'm sure I've confused them with the ubiquitous Mockingbird many times, since their coloring is similar.

Thanks for this presentation. We can see most or all of these in the Houston, Texas area, too, but it is good to see how close to us the Black-Chinned Hummingbird can be found.

@@BadgerlandBirding oh lots barn swallows cliff swallow white winged dove rock pigeon starlings seagulls cardinals chickadees titmouse wrens House sparrow king birds and if you go by the in and out restaurant you will see millions of birds grackles starlings other birds there’s more birds in Killeen that’s all I can name hope you can come out here and check it out please!!!
