Growing up in Milwaukee and having lake Michigan to fish in the late 70s till now has been awesome. I would never eat a fish out of that terd hole of a lake but I have caught some giant fish of all species there. Miss the smelt fishing under the Hoan bridge in the 80s.

So I’m not claiming to know everything, but I gosh Ned rigs year round and it’s my go to bait in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and New York. When you’re bed fishing smallies, a green pumpkin top and something bright in the bottom half of the bait seems to work well. Also just pop it a tiny bit, then do a big pop to get that reaction, then just let it sit and keep doing that. I caught some nice ones doing that from shore this year.

There was no liquor involved in the bike in the water the one who put it there just decided he didn't want the bike but he didn't want the owner to have it either, ( in this case the divy company) we used to see this in Des Plaines all the time, a punk would Steal a bike ride it to the other side of town, lock it to a tree, pole, or sign post with the heaviest chain and padlock, they could steal and just leave it, they didn't want the bike but they didn't want the owner to have it either, it's just pure cussedness!
