Fishing that mark I'd not be at all surprised that you would get squid 🦑 Years back we would catch scad under the boc jetty this time of year. Our side of the river. Squid Jiggs at night give it a go.

Just stumbled accross this, and instantly had memories of my time growing up in North Devon fishing of off the rocks or my Dads 15ft boat. I would be out for hours fishing. Flatfish, Tope, Mackerel, Skate and Ray's. Ilfracombe off the pier, Lynmouth at scilery sands for night fishing during the summer, Woody Bay and Watesrmeet, catching mackerel from the beach and then gutting and cooking them in 15 mins, can't get much fresher than that. I've tried river's and lake fishing after I moved to the East Midlands, but its just not the same.
