Colin Cowherd doesn't know jack about college football. Notice that he mentioned that "Missouri" has impressive "SEC lineman". I guess he conveniently forgot that when Missouri was in the Big 8/Big 12 they were basically a doormat for both OU and Texas. OU is 43-7-1 vs Missouri. Ditto Texas A&M - when A&M was in the Big 12 OU beat them 7 years in a row. Both Missouri and Texas A&M have fared just fine in the SEC (after leaving the Big 12). Apparently he doesn't know this. It would really be nice if this Cowherd guy would at least TRY to give a little bit more balanced/researched college football discussions.

These two guys are clowns. Missouri didn't have much of an issue their first year in the SEC. OU and to some degree, Texas, has been competing for national championships for decades. Both coaches have coached on multiple national championship teams. Believe me, saying OU and Texas don't know what they are getting into is a pretentious position.
@tremoore613 ай бұрын
Missouri entered the SEC East when they were down. Similar to Texas entering with an easier schedule. Whereas A&M had to go through the West. It's similar to OU's tougher schedule. A&M was good with Johnny Football. OU played him with A&M in a bowl game. Do you remember the outcome of that game? What was Oklahoma's last toughest schedule? How far back would you need to go? I'm trying to find out when, in recent history has OU had to go through a gauntlet. They were compared to Clemson of having the easiest path to the playoffs. Remember that? Now, 7 days after you play Alabama, you're going to go to Death Valley at the end of the year. That's after playing Tennessee, Auburn, Texas, South Carolina, Ole Miss, & Missouri. You may need to go look up the size of those linemen you'll be facing weekly. It's funny that you think the opinion is pretentious of a coach who actually coached in the B1G & SEC. And he is now an analyst at those fox Big12 games and can see the teams he's referring to. Whereas you, have what credibility exactly?

A transfer QB is not going to come into a program and win a National Championship in year 1. Talent is a major factor in success on the gridiron, but camaraderie and cohesion are equally important. I think about JJ McCarthy to Roman Wilson in the 4th quarter of last year's Rose Bowl. They had practiced and talked about that play for 3 years before the opportunity to execute it arose. As good as Henderson and Judkins will be for much of the season, Howard is gonna have to make clutch plays with few reps and no cohesion or muscle memory with his new teammates. That's asking too much from a 2-star QB such as Will Howard.

Urban Oregon is way closer to a chip than USC. Lincoln will never be close until he learns there is a thing called defense your team needs to have

No one like chip Kelley especially in the pros. He literally ran philly into the ground.

Collin cowher is a pod caster he said OU is the next Nebraska I wish he was right coming from a Texas Longhorn fan,but realistically the Sooners will always have a good Football team.its all they have in Norman that and softball ,OU the academics is not great.

The difference is gonna be to have more depth at the offense and defensive line with the new setup. More depth at that line of scrimmage will be number 1

I remember Miami not being a national championship team then what happened. They where one of the best programs in the 80s and 90s.

Collins comment about UCLA‘s jerseys making people think they are finesse is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. He’s way better than that.

Love Colin but come on man saying UCLA under Chip sent more players to the NFL then USC lol. USC 19 UCLA 14 and it about even on impact guys with edge to USC. Do some fact checking

Anyone that saw what a clown show Meyer was in the pros would not accept anything he saw as valuable.
