Thanks Colin, I really enjoyed this series. The painting would look lovely in a frame.

A great series. I have learned more from this than I have for a long time. Now to put it into practice. Good job!

You should be very pleased with that piece of art as its very good. I've learnt so much from this and your previous series, the main thing I've learnt is to be patient and build up colour and value by use of layers rather than trying to get it all down in one sitting, my request would be more videos along these lines, I enjoy Wesson style landscapes, small cottages and trees in beautiful countryside which I know you have an abundance of over in NI as I used to work over there a lot when I was younger, its a beautiful part of the UK., many thanks Neil.

Well I finally got round to finishing this Colin (I'm not sure about the "Patient Painter" - more like the "Lazy Painter"). I really enjoyed watching you doing this and seeing your approach. I learned lots as always. Thanks you so much. You mention in your header about animals - how about a demo of something like this. Or a Christmas Scene? Martin

Beautiful. I guess knowing when to stop is purely from personal perspective and instinctive...no hard rules?

Hi Colin, with your slow paced style of water colour could you perhaps show water colour painting on YUPO paper, I think that would be very interesting.

I lol'd at your comment about people in a scene. I have mixed feelings about them myself, whether to leave them out or try to add a few.
