In this video you can see an urban sketching step by step demo tutorial, done with pen , ink and watercolor. I will be sketching a wonderful sunny scene from Stockholm.
You can also see a few scene analysis, that help in better understand the subject.
I think Urban sketching is very different for every person. I like it because it is a very permissive style, there aren’t any strict rules that you have to follow or any strict art supplies that you have to use. It is a bit different from traditional watercolor painting, because, in my opinion, urban sketching is more about quick washes of watercolor, that help in telling more about the moment and the story.

Great idea to use a watercolor pencil for the first drawing. Thanks for the tip. I allways have trouble with these rows of buildings. You make it look almost do-able😉

Fude-pen is the best tool for Urban-sketching. I like to draw with my Fude. Nice Picture.
