What ink are you using in the Fude Pen?

I use Black Platinum Carbon Ink.

@@AGsBlog_ Thank you. I asked because I noticed that the ink did not run when watercolor was washed over it.

@@mpileggi4399 Ah yes - the ink dries very quickly and doesn't run. Apparently this type of ink can clog fountain pens and regular cleaning is required. However, I haven't needed to do this yet and I use my Fude pen about once a week.

I like your painting. I'll have to go back to the beginning for a better look. I spent most of the first part of this video watching you... but being distracted by just catching sight of something wafting in from the left. Took me AGES to finally catch a better view and to realise it was your brush roll. Initially I thought it was someone standing close and watching you paint! And yes the camera zooming in and out of focus on your hat is pretty distracting too. Lol! You do need a better camera angle, but for goodness sake don't fall into the trap of filming from the side, try to keep above and angled as directly straight downwards as you can. I do like what you say about that fat looking flat brush you were using at the start, interesting. Do you only use the permanent type of ink in your fude pen? Or do you have other 'fudes' with other inks? I only have the one myself, but I'm thinking of getting more... or at least more fude nibs. I do like the versatility of them. I haven't done much true urban sketching, as I have some disabilities and need to be comfortable to be able to "zone in" - so I take photos to work from. And then sneak off to a cafe to paint in comfort. Terrible of me I know. I'm now off to see what else you've done. Ta ta.

@@FranOnTheEdge thanks for the feedback Fran, I will try a different camera mounting strategy. I only have permanent ink in the fude pen for now.
