Steve, I hope you aren't losing your enjoyment with camping due to pressure from us subscribers. We love your content whether it's repetitive, laid back, almost seems effortless, you name it we will love it. We feed off of your energy, not necessarily your content. Relax, enjoy, take a break, and let's go camping with Steve!

I liked the backyard camping episodes. I also wouldn't mind episodes of Steve at home just going over equipment and figuring out recipes. Like, this could have been a two parter of Steve going over the hunting blind and heater and trying to maximize space for food, camera, and gear. No reason why there couldn't be multiple episodes expounding on one creative idea like this one or the cave/bunker.

@@nainoswad2725 Sure, protecting the health and safety of people is unreal right? I mean next time you walk into a hospital just remember that those mandates are keeping you fromt getting violently ill as healthcare workers must follow them and have for decades. But super selfish right? Totally unreal! Also remember that in the 70's people protested and refused to wear seatbelts when those laws came into place and said it was encroaching on their "freedom".

Something that might be handy to look into for the Buddy Heater is a heat powered fan. It doesn't require batteries because it uses a thermocouple to power the fan from the heat of the stove. It'll help circulate the heat inside your shelter and hopefully prevent those melted spots in the roof.

I love simple pop up tents for winter camping. I have videos of winter camping with the Eskimo pop up and mr heater and stay very warm. Nothing worse then spending a ton of time trying to set up and tie out a tent. Having multiple size mr heaters work perfect for different size setups. Great video Steve!

I've been watching your videos for a few months now, and they're some of the most comforting content on KZbin I watch. It sounds cheesy, but your videos are like little cups of hot chocolate on a cold day. It's inspired me to plan a camping trip this summer hopefully. Please don't let negative comments get you down, you're worth more than that.

Hunkered down here at home with The Freeze on the way, I have to say, I think the most stressful part of watching this one was hoping the chili getting poured didn't dump, tear apart, or overheat the chips bag and make Steve drop it :( Thank goodness for little victories. And whoof! Here's to the next one hopefully being warmer. Only six more weeks until 'Spring' Steve, fingers crossed!

Great video Steve! I've enjoyed every one of your videos and I've seen a lot of them. I don't care where you camp - whether it's difficult or easy, I've liked every single one of them. Don't stress yourself - your fans enjoy this. Even if it's not a difficult camp, I usually pick up a tip or two from you regarding camping and I bet the rest of your fans do too. Just keep doing what you're doing!

Nice little setup there bud! Those pop up hunting blinds do a good job albeit a little light/ thin for the harsh winters we go through, but you made it work in smart fashion ;) I also suggest having a simple P38 or P51 Can Opener on your keychain (old military style can opener, the P38 is smaller than the P51), they have a good point and edge for opening stuff apart from tins and an easy tool to keep on you, works as a screwdriver in a pinch too. Looking forward to the next one!

Steve, I just love going virtual camping with you each time and look forward to each episode. Your “down to earth “ demeanor soothes my soul and so many of your viewers feel the same. After watching your channel for over a year now, I have started collecting items to get stealth fully away from time to time. As a woman I got some things you’d probably never use. I found out one weekend just how hard it is to avoid people who seem to have “stranger radar “. Maybe I was paranoid but I could always feel eyes on my. Tried to be the “grey woman” to fit in but still people were peering in my car when I hunkered down in it. I even camouflaged it to look like it was a college alumni vehicle. Since most of us are only 3 missed paychecks from being homeless, your tips can prove invaluable for our peace of mind. You make it look easy but realistic. Thank you for doing the hard stuff.

Another one in the books. Excellent go around this time. No having to pack up and high tail it out of there. Like that one night in that neighborhood. I really enjoyed the trial of the new gear. A white one or white camo tarp would go well with something like that to hide it away. Remember this, Nature and God don't make things in straight lines. The better you look like it's natural the better the stealth. Still, an awesome Job Steve another excellent stealth camp. Thank you so much.

I love all of Steve's videos regardless of what he's doing. It would be cool to see a "behind the scenes" for all the planning and prep that goes into filming a stealth camp. I think it would give us all a new appreciation for the effort Steve puts in to the process of picking a location, packing gear, choosing a meal, filming the camp, and editing everything.
