@@campingwithsteve Apologies, I'm copying this here since I've no idea if you'll see it where I first posted it among the other comments. Okay. The ebike. I heard you say it's an assist so does that mean it shouldn't be used 100% as an ebike? When young I rode bikes under my own power for decades but graduated to motorcycles and eventually I didn't ride my 10 speed any more. But, now that I'm old and the broken spine (when I was 15) and other things conspired and one leg pretty much died so I had to give up my motorcycle (after 40 years) because my leg (left) can't be trusted. It also disqualifies me from riding my 10 speed and my kids and grandkids ride all the time. My little Jazzy can't keep up. I was thinking about an ebike and can it be run solely on that as well as how far does a charge take you and, how long to charge it up. Sorry for all the questions but I've hit a spot in life where I can't grab all the gusto I want ... and need. The ebike seems to be a possible solution but before I start saving for one it would be great to get information from someone who's actually used one. Thanks! And again, Happy Birthday, young man!

@@suzibikerbabe8073 Ebikes still require you to pedal, they just assist that pedaling (in most case), such as going up an incline, it can take the edge off or if youre going up a hill, you can turn that motor assist up as high as legally allowed to make the hill not a pain. Most ebikes afaik have a thing on the handle to let you adjust how mucha ssistance it gives you 9thought here are some which are for all practical reasons, a motorcycle trying to take advantage of bicycle laws). In some places the assist has to be passive (aka no throttle for it, can only set how much assistance it gives, others allow throttle which is moreso a motorcycle).

I always see Steve's videos and say "I'll just watch a bit before bed" but inevitably watch until the end. Gotta love his chill vibe and positivity.

“I’m a cyclist today… but I’m not one of THOSE cyclists.” We love you Steve. Never change 😂❤ Also, purchase a new seat for your bike, they make a world of difference, especially if you’re into tour style riding.

Hi Steve. I'm from the uk. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your videos on stealth camping. I suffer from anxiety and find it hard to sleep at night. But watching your videos makes me happy and it puts me in a better frame of mind at night. Since watching. I've been sleeping better. My favourite videos are the ones where you camp behind signs and things near the road 😂 much love. Keep up the amazing work and changing lives for the better ❤

It's so good to see you back at Steve! 🙏🏽💜 But, I just can't get over that someone actually took the time to drive into the woods just to throw away a TV! I can never understand why people just don't put their trash out properly. To bad Crazy Neighbor isn't picking you up in the morning so you can dispose of it properly.

I share your astonishment over the person who tossed the TV. That person made a conscious decision to load a TV into a vehicle, drive into the woods, pull the TV out of the vehicle, and heave it among the trees. Who *does* that? And why? It isn’t difficult to recycle, or at least put it in a proper receptacle. I figure it’s probably the same people who thought it was fun to break things when they were kids. 😢

Love seeing Steve do new things as well as the old. Just something about his approach to it all, the idea that he’s just going to enjoy it, whatever it is and however it turns out, that brings joy to me watching it.

I've missed Steve so much, it makes me so happy to see him back at what he loves doing. It's been a rough couple of years, but the man doesn't let life get him down, he grabs life by the b*lls and gets on a bike to make all his friends happy.

This was so cool!! Steve, longtime subscriber. You are such an enrichment. This was possibly the *most fun* episode I've ever seen of yours, and I've been following you for years. If you did more of a series on this theme? I think it would be awesome. You just gave us a 360° camera view of you exploring and just being yourself. Dude, you know we're here for exactly that. Please explore and use the 360° to have fun. Everything about this episode saving much more comfortable and relaxed for you. Change everything every week. Go nuts. We're just here, and I'm so into whatever you're up to. I am really interested in pedal assist e-bike traveling. if you have a lot of institutional knowledge about how to camp, for real while biking, I think that would make a really cool series of videos that you could really dig into. Maybe you should decide to do something entirely different, I'm there for that too. Have fun dude ❤

Hello from Belleville Ontario, much like Steve here I also lost a lot of close people to me in the last 3 years. First being my sister 27, my mom 59, my father 65 and my father in law 63. I survived colon cancer 3 years ago and been having a hard time financially, emotionally and physically but the only thing I keep telling myself is "don't lose yourself" and I will tell you the same Steve, go and take on life but don't lose yourself along the way. Stay safe and happy birthday 😀
