Yay! Worms worked hard while you were gone. You're going to have some fabulous material for your garden this year. ~ Sandra

You are right but I'll probably be giving a lot of this away to some relatives who have new homes and want to start gardens!

Morning Newell..Those wroms are about the same size as my ENC's must be a 'winter' thing. My systems are mostly 'dormant' through the winter months, mine being kept in an unheated garage away from our house. Humidity and freezing conditions common here but they seem to revive okay when temps increase...great to see so many of yours still getting stuff done. Have you ever looked at the microbial activity in the casting that come of of the lower part of your bin when harvesting.. There is so much material in those UWB you would imagine that all the worms would be near the top...not so obvious whelsit you were digging through the bag...AWESOME!!

It was good that the worms still had some cardboard to eat.

I was quite surprised that any was left. Hopefully this extra food will awaken their appetites so I can start loading up again like I did in the past!

I’m curious, you didn’t add your usual egg & crab shells. Was this on purpose or did you just forget this time around? If on purpose, why?

Great question and this is due to the Vitamix Foodcycler and the fact I threw a bunch of eggs into that which removes the processing I was doing on those eggs to begin with. I probably should have mentioned that in the video but wasn't thinking about it at the time!

My kids also eat them so typically we purchase four at a time and we all have one. So yes we really like them!
