First place is an old farmhouse built in the mid 1800’s down south, I filmed both these videos years ago and subsequently forgot about them. The second larger house was built around 1860-1870 in the mountains of New York. It features a large 3 story tower in the center of the house with a fantastic view of the area from the top. Unfortunately most of the inside has been remodeled for commercial use and majority of the old details of the house are gone. Still an eye catching place. Figured I’d share this forgotten video of these forgotten places. Thanks for watching. Like and leave a comment if you enjoyed. Thank you.

The wavy glass with little bubbles in places is called cylinder glass... It was blown into a cylinder-shaped bubble.. then reheated.. cut and laid flat... Once set.. it was cut to the size and shape needed... I have some in my farmhouse... Machine-rolled glass replaced it in the very early 1900s...

One thing I really enjoy about Kappy's videos is that he's the only person exploring the houses he shows his viewers. Other "explorers" go tramping through houses in groups who loudly talk over each others' narratives and then tell other "explorers" of their locations, so you end up seeing half a dozen videos of the same house! Others also manhandle the items left in abandoned houses like they're at an estate sale and not in the museum of someone's life! No respect from or for them! Additionally, most other "exploeres" rely on the public's current fascination with the paranormal to garner views. Not Kappy! Should he disturb a spirit, he is respectful and doesn't freak himself and his fans out. He just moves on. Kappy doesn't rely on such sensationalism, but on architectural details and historical information to bring in viewers as that is what he knows serious viewers want to see. Kappy has set the gold standard for urban exploring for years and he will hopefully continue doing so for years to come! He is, quite simply, the best at his chosen profession! Long live the King of Urban Exploring!
