I still wonder about her father, like maybe he was a human and grandfather made him leave, or didn't want to let him be part of his daughte's life to begin with, or maybe he already died of an old age, or just didn't want his immortal daughter to see him age so rapidly (compared to her and whole family) or maybe he was a a-hole vampire and just left.
