Awwww! I missed it as I was busy with my mom- on- law's first year rituals.I have this plant in a big pot n as U rightly pointed out it took s few years to give out those colorful bracts.ĺ love d green leaves with bright red/ yellow bracts combi.Its soooo attractive. Tq USB for all d info.

Hi nanba beautiful exotic plant with useful guidlines 1st time I saw it in Singapore in a local park ( 25 yrs ago ) So tempting with all its garlands hanging nearly touching the ground No way to get it so I pinched one ryzome and got back to India this stealing is an open secret many yrs it bloomed and died Now i know the reason Now i bought them from Kerala and fallow ur tips thanks a lot thambi Lastly u showed one water plant yes it's water Poppy Got it from Kerala Out of one I made 4 plants After a long iam giving a boring long comment 👍🤣

I stay in Delhi-NCR where winter has started and will progress to cold nights. Till now it is on Terrace. Pl advise all the care I shoiuld take during next 3 months.

Provide some shade from the dew...chill as long as u don't get snow in Delhi. It's still tropical

@@Urbanscapegardening It's like this. If grown in the ground, heliconias grow huge ever expanding clumps underground. These keep shooting up for new stalks. That is not a huge problem (just clip it); the problem is that other plants struggle to grow on that spot. Growing them in pots is better.
