Just home from RDS, and that was probably our best performance of the season, and at the right time. Especially that second half.

I'm also a Leinster fan and while I cannot disagree with you regarding the Leinster performance, I fear that Leinster will face exactly the same issue that has hurt them for the last two seasons. The URC finishes over a month before either the English Premiership or the French Top 14. Leinster will have week after week of knockout matches while their far less committed opponents can rest players. Resting first choice players cost Leinster for the last two years in the URC while English refereeing killed them in Europe. Meanwhile, Munster/Stormers/Bulls could rest players in the URC and La Rochelle were able to rest players in Europe. I think that we need the URC to sort out their schedule before we can expect ANY team from the URC win in Europe...

Also a leinster fan I feel they had it to easy over the last few years since what has happened to welse rugby and zebre can be tough but can't last a full game. I would put Scottish sides and benetton as sides that can compete with them. As well as SA sides. I have a feeling this league will be dominated by SA,Ireland unless the others wake up.

To beat 2nd in the table by 33 points without Porter, Ryan, Ringrose, Keenan, Frawley, Ngatai, O’Brien is seriously impressive considering the Bulls had a bunch of springboks in their team. Leinster are just absolutely ruthless!

Such lovely weather for the game tonight and a full house to boot. Everyone was expecting a closer game but I did think that the Bulls needed to be up about 2 tries at half time given that fierce Irish bench. Well they were in it till half time but whatever was said in that dressing room and despite being a man down Leinster came out firing even before the subs came on. Emphatic win and being surrounded by loads of screaming enthusiastic kids certainly added to the atmosphere for me Brilliant night. 😁

Enjoying a chill snowy and chilly Saturday afternoon here in Calgary, in Western Canada. Just watched the highlights of this game and as a Munster fan I take my hat off to Leinster (particularly their bench) as this performance hit a higher gear than I have seen in a bit. most giving out over the leinster yellow card in my thoughts is either though it was a high tackle a yellow was the right call. but I feel a red would be harsh but it was a good decision. Bulls did well in the game happy with the win bulls not getting 2 wins in the RDS and now the record is 2-2 Leinster and bulls.

Instead of messin around with law changes, and spurious efforts to "make the game flow better" World Rugby should be utilising the experience and nous of former Northern hemisphere front rows like Jackman to train/teach all Refs on "how to Officiate"the Scrum!

Some Bulls fans were very confident, I've seen Bulls by 10, 15, even 20. They did do ok in the first half, if the 2nd was the same it would have been a nailbiter. But Leinster just upped a gear and it was like a tidal wave the Bulls couldn't stop. Although it made no difference they did deserve to have that 2nd try allowed. The decision was absolutely ridiculous. They should have had 21 at the end. Terrible refereeing decision.

Dissapointed in the Bulls second half. Missed lineouts, dropping the ball from kicks, etc. Was poised nicely at half time, then Leinster turned it up and the Bulls' game seemed to fall apart.

Mark, were you up all night watching this game and putting your review together? No doubt Luke McGrath went in upright into that tackle on Arendse. However, upright or not he didn’t make any head contact and he didn’t engage in any foul play. On the other hand, Arendse hit McGrath on the head with a left forearm smash. That could easily have been adjudged as no try, a penalty to Leinster and a yellow for Arendse.

As ball carrier you are allowed to tuck your arm in and brace, he wasn't leading with the elbow. There was clear head on head contact, albeit indirectly. Call was correct in my opinion.

Only one game and it was between two attacking teams but the rucks that were obvious box kicks seemed a whole lot faster than usual really hoping that stays and its not just here for a few weeks and the refs stop caring

Re the Bulls disallowed Try - I'm a Leinster fan(atic) and I thought that was a bit of a harsh call. I couldn't help remembering the (according to himself) "Best Rugby referee on the Planet" Nigel Owens, calling "Play on" after Paul O'Connell, in a Munster v Leinster match, DELIBERATELY kicked Dave Kearney in the head. And O'Connell got completely away with that - and Munster fans are still PROUD of that Thuggery to this day.... Owens has his own Rugby Commentary channel. I cannot wait to see IF or How he talks about that incident....

@@dn822 No, it was the TMO that intervened. Ross Byrne did complain to the ref but Evans told him to get lost. It was only when the TMO chimed in that the ref listened.

McGrath was reckless and high with head on head contact = straight yellow. But bad technique rather than malicious and not a lot of force in it - at least not for the tacklee - so imho not a red. The kick into the back of a prone player was reckless also and just a little nasty [given the time/clear opportunity to pull out] but, again, not with real force so not a red either - should have been a yellow tho - he knew exactly what he was at imo.

All started going downhill for the Bulls when Van Staden went off injured. Goosen has a good boot but he really lacks in other areas of the game. Willie was hot and cold, as usual. Moodie had a quiet game. Arendse did his best to light a fire under his team, just wasn't enough. Very sad day for us Bulls supporters

There is no way that tackle on Arendse was not a red card. The call to cancel the try also reeked of the TMO wanting to make his mark on the game, even saying “it’s just my opinion” - that is just not a good enough basis to officiate a game with. Worst standard of officiating I have seen in ages

Just saw a super soft yellow, and was reminded of this game where an upright head to head was deemed not deserving of a red, while the previous week the Lions tighthead received a red despite clearly being bent at the hips, tackling a bent over player. I don't like to point at the refs but there seems to be little consistency.

There’s only 4 professional teams in Ireland , we shouldn’t be ever in the WC talking ! A third of our population in the Dublin area , traditional rugby schools etc so logical more players come from this area . But to give credit the schools system became “ professional “ in the 80 s and results now are obvious !
