Kainaat Astronomy in Urdu

Күн бұрын

In 1974, humans sent a message to stars in a globular cluster, M13. But what are globular clusters? What can they tell us about the life and death of stars? What kind of images has NASA's Hubble Space Telescope taken of these objects? Please join astrophysicist Salman Hameed in exploring the nature of globular clusters and their importance in this astronomy documentary in Urdu (and Hindi). You can find more information about space and astronomy (falakiyat) in Urdu and Hindi in this channel.
For more information:

Salman Hameed has a PhD in astronomy and is Charles Taylor Chair of Integrated Science & Humanities at Hampshire College and a member of the Five College Astronomy Department (FCAD) in Massachusetts, USA.
He is also the CEO of the non-profit Kainaat Studios (www.kainaatstu.... Kainaati Gup Shup videos are produced by Kainaat Studios in collaboration with Hampshire College.

ever heard the term ''puff of fascination''? look into the mirror. the stardust in me salutes you for knowing it that deeply. well executed and densely pronounced! 14:12, you roared like a lion there and I know very comprehensively what that feeling is about! you deserve better appreciation. O Man, take heed! what says midnight's voice indeed?

I am intoxicated after watching this video and knowing about the Globular and Open Clusters. Knowing about an extremely ancient, accurately growing-and-glowing, and awe-inspiring cosmos persuades me to write something everlasting. It makes me feel like a Philosopher, a Theologian and an intoxicated Poet. The light coming from the stars illuminates the dark rooms of my self. Bravo Prof Salman. Love from Pakistan...

First I'm grateful as always, I learn alot from you. I'm just wondering as you talk about Globular Clusters, what force is there to hold them together? Is there a black hole as well in center of these clusters to hold them together? And how are these clusters are bound with the galaxy or are they free to move around? And if there is a very minimum chance of life there? Why we still found it a good target for sending a signal? And yesss it would be an amazing night sky for one who is living on some planet among these stars 🤩
@KainaatAstronomyinUrdu
@KainaatAstronomyinUrdu 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Hamzila. And it is the gravity that holds the globular clusters together, and gravity of the Galaxy keeps them part of the galaxy. They do move around but their orbits are random (this is a technical way of defining their orbits). There may be an intermediate mass black holes at the centers of some globular clusters - but that is still waay smaller than the whole cluster. And we picked the cluster for message because there were many stars in that direction at once. The signal was really a way of thinking about us... (more on this at another time).
