In astronomy, distance to an object is one of the most important things to know. But this is also one of the hardest. Please join astrophysicist Salman Hameed in exploring a variety of ways in which astronomers measure distances. From Parallax method to standard candles, such as Cepheid variables and supernovae, we look at foundations of these methods. In addition, we discuss some of the foundational units of distance measurement, from an Astronomical Unit and a light-year to parsecs and megaparsecs. This is a Urdu (and Hindi) science documentary.
