She came out w/her 1st solo album in 2003. She was supposed to play in my favorite venue in Chicago. I planned, took the train, a cab....and then I got there and a post said it was moved. Ugh. LSS I sat leaning against a bar as she sang with a great band 40 feet away from me. The label, Sony, I believe gave her 4 shows and bye. I gave her a romantic novel I wrote, kissed her hand and said, " I have to go." Such a powerful performance she gave. It cost me a fortune but as I lie on a metal train bench waiting for the train to take me back to me car many miles away I felt as in a dream. Ah, Mary.
