Quite honestly, what is sad about the situation is nothing new. Institutions not recognised by UGC as invalid, and so are their degrees, even in India. Why would and why should German institutes recognise degrees invalid in the home country where it was awarded? I see this as a step in the right direction. Accreditation standards are set for a reason

Bro i hope you reply to me, On march 27 i applied for my aps in june i got a mail saying your scholastic / academic background currently does not allow for Studienkolleg / university enrollment in Germany. I asked my consultancy about it they said that they had a new rule that last sem marksheet of Degree is mandatory now. And they tell me to mail them my 8th sem marksheet which i got after few days of rejection i mailed them my provisional degree certificate as well as my 8th sem marksheet to them 10 days ago are there any chances that i will get aps? Certain colleges are not mentioned in the Anabin database . For example BITS Pilani goa campus is not explicitly present although BITS Pilani is there . Similarly VIT Vellore is present but other campuses are not . These are some major universities in India with good rankings and a lot of people have been doing their masters in Germany from these universities . Could you please make an elaborate explanation to this ?

I did not see the requirement of a specific campus needed to be recognized. The institution awarding the degree needs to be H+. The same is the story with colleges affiliated to deemed universities.

I am into a huge problem related to APS. I applied for an APS certificate in December 2023, but in January 2024, I got to know that I have a name problem in my documents. The problem is that in my academic documents (10th, 12th, and college), my name is RAVAL MEETKUAMR, but in my personal documents (PAN, ADHAR, PASSPORT), it is RAVAL MEET. When I applied to APS with RAVAL MEETKUMAR, the APS form we had to send to the office had the same name. So, in January, I changed my name in ADHAR and PAN to RAVAL MEETKUAMR and applied for a reissued passport. I got an APS certificate in February 2024 with the wrong name, RAVAL MEET. Now I also have a result passport with the correct name. I mailed them more than 20 times and couriered all the documents, but I haven't received a response from them. What should I do? , Should I reapply for APS with my reissued passport or just go with this APS certificate??

The Studienkolleg is an advantage, not a disadvantage! They don’t want to put hurdles in your way! They want to make you more successful! A Ausbildung is not academic! It is apprenticeship! It is not a bad idea in general, but not the best to have the idea to become an academic! Again idiotic ideas of our politicians! Formal equivalent to anything does not help you in the real life! Some of our politicians have the weird idea everybody can become everything! But that is not true!

This is what i found on anabin website just now hope it helps Foreign university degrees can generally only be recognized in Germany if they were obtained at a state or state-recognized institution. These universities are marked with the status H+ in the anabin database. For university degrees from some countries, additional criteria must also be met for recognition in Germany. In this case, the institution has the status H+/-.

No it won't, unless your college is affiliated to any H+ University with its name on your marksheet. Also in this case your college should be ugc granted or no aps again

I am studying in SRM Valliammai Engineering College Affiliated to Anna University (A state owned public university in Chennai). My University is accredited by Anabin Database whereas my college name is not there. No colleges Affiliated to Anna University is there in Anabin Database which includes MIT, SSN, PSG etc. Often recognised as top Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Do I have any problem in this case as I already got APS for my first six semester.

Dont worry, there would be no colleges in the database as its only for universities. You are good to go as your university is accredited.

Well as long as your marksheet have the name of H+ University, in your case Anna University, you won't be having any issues. Affiliated colleges do work but u need ur college to be affiliated to H+ University and them mentioned on your marksheet.

Hey bharat. A quick question. I have APS certificate containing my 5th sem scores. Its also mentioned in the APS that I have only completed 5 semesters. Will the "5th sem thing" cause any problem during the visa process? If yes how to update it. P.S. Its your video that released 1 year ago that encouraged me to get aps and now if everything works out I can be in germany in this WiSe 2024. Thank you ❤

For direct entry after 12th without doing studienkollege the only option left is a private university which in my opinion are not something to waste your money on...rather study in india if you don't wanna go for studienkollege or 1 year bachelor...
