Not many years after Padre Pio's death, a woman came to speak about him at the civic auditorium of my mostly-Protestant hometown in Michigan, USA. That was the first time I'd ever heard of the Brown Scapular. I was there with my Confirmation class. She had "oodles" of Brown Scapulars in the lobby and urged us to take one and wear it. I did wear it until it fell apart, but I didn't know anything else about it. It almost seemed like a talisman, until recently, when I learned that the enrollment goes with wearing it. Then it made sense. I want to keep this next testimony short as possible. Long story short, the Promise of the Brown Scapular is real. This is how I know: My Dad was most likely enrolled in the Brown Scapular following the Mass of his First Communion, but he didn't remember it. He simply wore it faithfully, and when he could no longer physically wear it because of having to undergo medical procedures in his extreme old age, he kept it in his wallet, which was always with him. The string had long ago broken off, so all he had was the actual Scapular cloth, tucked in a pocket of his old wallet. At the age of 80, summer of 2019, we regretfully had to place him in a nursing care home. If I knew then what was coming...but that's water under the bridge. By May of 2021, the nursing home allowed family to come inside to sit with "actively dying" relatives. We just needed to have a negative nasal swab test, administered in their parking lot, "good" for a certain number of days. So we were able to sit with Dad during his last afternoon, night, and morning. One of my brothers and one of my sisters was with him when he died. He died on a Friday. Remember the Promise of the Brown Scapular: Our Lady will bring you out of Purgatory herself on the first Saturday after your death in this world. That's *if* you need more purification. I don't know how much more Dad needed -- he had suffered so greatly through life, especially in his final decade, constantly renewing the joining of his suffering to the Cross. He made Confession regularly as long as he could get to the church, and when he was homebound he called the priest to come to him. He received the Last Rites from the TLM priest who serves the nursing home, and was granted the Apostolic Pardon. Isn't that another Promise of the Brown Scapular? That you won't die an unprovided death? Maybe I'm mixing it up with another devotion, but Dad died with the Sacraments provided. And know this: as my brother held our dying Dad, Dad released his final breath, and -- says my brother -- Dad opened his eyes -- his eyes were _bright, so bright!_ Dad looked at my brother without turning his head, smiled with joy, _was transformed into a healthy, vibrant young man_ and leapt out of the bed. And then my brother was holding the deceased body of our aged, disabled Dad. I didn't need to see that to have hope for our Dad's eternal reward. Our sister is on her own journey, may she find the Lord. She didn't share in the vision. My brother was questioning. He needed to witness it, and share it. God provides there graces needed at just the right time. In fact, shortly thereafter, my brother was sharing this with his buddy at work. Brother works where Dad used to work, and the buddy's uncle worked with Dad and was friends with him, to the point of knowing each other's families. So my brother was telling his buddy who had a long time connection to our family. Dad knew the buddy's parents. And when the buddy heard my brother's recounting of what he'd seen when Dad died, the buddy was astounded. It turned out that there was another connection to all this. The buddy's own Dad had died some years prior, and he couldn't get there in time. His Mom was with his Dad when his Dad died. She never talked about it until the day our Dad died. Of course she didn't know that our Dad had died that day. She suffers severe dementia, at the stage where she's nonverbal. The buddy and his wife were able to bring her to live with them, thank God. That day, she suddenly spoke for the first time in ages, and what she said was that when her husband died, at the moment of his death, she saw him transformed into a healthy, vibrant young man, and he leapt out of the bed. Then she went silent again. The buddy and his wife just didn't know what to make of this, until my brother shared what he himself witnessed. God grants graces as needed exactly when they're needed. I credit the Brown Scapular. And one more thing, one final thing: as we were going through Dad's belongings at the nursing home, I found his wallet in his jacket pocket where he always kept it, but it was completely empty, and the leather was nearly gone, as it had obviously been put through the laundry. I found the pictures that he had kept in his wallet stuffed into a disposable drinking cup, where they had been set to dry. The Brown Scapular cloth was nowhere to be found. Through no fault of his own, he was unable to wear it at the moment of his death. He wasn't careless, he was vulnerable, helpless, at the mercy of staff and their bosses whose orders they must obey. Dad also suffered vascular dementia, the "in and out" kind of memory loss. So we'll never know if he told the laundry staff his jacket pockets were empty, or if they simply assumed so and didn't check. I'm not accusing them of being intentionally cruel or anything -- they're on a timeline deadline. But the damage was done. And it didn't delete the Promise of the Brown Scapular! Dad wore it faithfully in his heart, where it matters most. The physical object is a tangible reminder of where our hearts must be: Joined to the Three Hearts.

Wow! What a wonderful story! That’s one of the things that worry me, that someone in a hospital or care home may have their scapular removed by staff. I do feel however that if the intent is to wear it at all times then no penalties will be given if someone else has taken it from you. Our Lady understands.

I’ve been wearing the brown scapula, Miraculous Medal, the Holy Cross and have said the Traditional Holy Rosary daily for many years now. Years ago, on the Feast Day of Saint Monica, the Blessed Mother saved me during a very difficult time in my life. That issue is still not resolved and I pray fervently for healing of my child and spouse souls. Please pray for them…especially my spouse who has stage 4 cancer. She told me to pray the Holy Rosary daily and persevere. I promised I would and have kept my word. There are times I don’t say the Rosary as devoutly as I should and my mind wonders but I never give up. I want to go to Mexico and visit Our Lady of Guadalupe. I’m from Texas so the trip will be quick and easy. This might sound strange, but I feel that once I go there my child and spouse will return to God. God Bless!

I have just come back to the Church in early 2019 through Mary via Divine Mercy. It's a very long story but I ended up at the TLM during the coof. I am a cradle Catholic who, despite having left for 35 years, for many reasons that other Catholics my age did, including the institution of Vatican II, was always connected to Our Lady. Now I have never had a Spiritual or supernatural experience with respect to the Divine Eucharist or a Word from God or Mary, but I have had a few since coming to the TLM. Like the time kneeling at the Communion Rail, receiving Holy Communion and being transported to Heaven. Laugh if you will, but my "Church buddy" who I ride with (our commute to the TLM is an hour each way in good conditions and traffic), well she said as we were going home, "Where did you go during Communion? Your face looked so reverent and you looked so far away?" Last August 15th (2021) after Holy Communion, as I was meditating Our Lady said, "The mark of the Beast is here". Shortly thereafter they were talking about the chip under the skin being used in Sweden. Military planes started to fly more regularly over the northeast and midatlatic states (now we know that they were preparing for war). On December 8, 2021, She said to me, "The Beast is coming and he is coming fast". Things have been changing at a record setting pace, including the war and how the EU is being transported backwards into coal and wood burning eras, with the US right behind them. Food shortages and famine are on the immediate horizon. Pandemics are coming one after another. Bergoglio has sold out the Church and is now demanding that all monies be brought back to the Vatican bank by 30September2022. During Advent last year, as the Priest lifted the Host, my body went through this tremendous jolt and at the same time I saw the Cross with Our Lord, upright, dropping into a hole made for it to sit in. One Sunday during Lent, as the Priest lifted the Chalice, all of a sudden I felt this unrelenting thirst, and I saw the wind cast a few sprinkles of fine, misty blood onto Our Lady's Face as She stood beneath the Cross. The wind was whipping the dirt around and I felt transported for that brief moment. Mary is calling us. And I cling to my Brown Scapular. And I talk to Catholics all the time about Her and Her Love for us. I even give out Holy Cards to NO Catholics at work. I don't care because that is what I believe that I am being asked to do. The rosary and the scapular are inseparable. We are so blessed to have sacramentals such as the Miraculous Medal, St Benedict Medal, Holy Water etc and should really make use of them. Our homes should have Blessed crucifixes , statues , images of Our Lord and Our Lady. Pray the rosary daily. The rosary has the power to stop Wars.

Thank you for ALL your videos. I was desperately sick 3 years ago. Basically my digestion stopped. I was in and out of the hospital, 5 doctors had no idea what was wrong. I was bedridden and on a liquid diet. My great gift was my husband who found ways to make puréed soups taste fantastic. I did a novena to Saint Raphael and began wearing the green scapular and praying to the Blessed Mother. After 6 months, my doctor found a SINGLE medication that I only had to take for 6 weeks and I was cured. The Blessed Mother and Saint Raphael took me in their care. I wear the scapula always.

@@mojophe1617 I had an extreme case of irritable bowel which the doctor called dysfunctional vowel. The muscles in the digestive track which is supposed to start squeezing at the top and one by one squeeze down to the bottom we’re not doing that. They were firing all out of order all the time, which was accounting for the pain I had for so long. He gave me a muscle relaxant that only targets the gut. I was able to go home and start eating solid foods right away, although I’ll tell you, I was very cautious. The reason this was so difficult to diagnose was that I also have Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, gastritis and a couple of other itises. It made it very difficult to figure out which was the culprit. I’m sorry that I don’t remember the exact medication. If I can find it in my prescription list, I’ll come back here later and let you know. All my digestive tract needed was to relax and stop firing all the time. I only took it for six weeks, and that was it.

Thank you for your passion. I had just recently come to understand that Our Lady asked us to wear the brown scapular at Fatima. I will get one. I am in the U.S. and always looked to Ireland for my Catholic roots and I am praying for Ireland to return to tradition. I am not sure if you have done a video on what is happening in Ireland and why. Just saw Taylor Marshalls youtube video this past week in regards to an Irish priest. I have been pulled in last 24 hours to think about shopping for new brown scapular. But I was looking for discernment as wondering when was right time to wear? Was i spiritually ready? As have ignored this pull before. I bought one before but its plain. Have bumped recently into folk enrolled in brown scapular. Then i came across 2 things on brown scapular today within same hour-unrelated article on a previous pope with urgent msg mention of brown scapular and rosary and robert's other video was 2nd one. And carmel monastery channel had even appeared. So i wonder is this a sign as had not seen either scapular video until now.

Any of the brown scapulars that l've bought in the shops in Knock are of extremely poor quality. I also find the wooden Rosary beads inferior also. They are lovely beads but the string that goes through each bead unravels. Robert, is it possible to give us that Lady's website, as l wish to obtain a good quality Scapular. Thanks and God bless.

My boys were enrolled in the Brown Scapular in 2002. The youngest has totally left the Faith, though he wears his Brown Scapular for me. My keep praying. My 27-yr-old and his wife wear them, too. I can't say any of them follow the "protocols", but I pray to Our Lady and ask Our Lady to keep the Scapular for them all.

When I was confirmed and following for 19 years until recently when I moved east. our precious Monsignor was very devoted to our Lady of Medugorje and loved EWTN and Mother Angelica. I pray the Rosary with her on recording before and after work. About a month ago I ordered a new scapular too after awhile of not having one. I also prayed the prayer of consecration to the Two Hearts when I ordered the scapular. I agree with you and know that my 3 sons, daughter in law, and little grandchildren are all in the Blessed Mother’s arms and safe under Her Mantle. They are scattered across the US. My five brothers and parents too I have concerns for. Only my parents and two brothers are devout Catholics. One is fallen away and two are Protestant. With God all things are possible. Deo gratias!

I never received a scapular when I made my 1st communion or at Confirmation and always wondered why. My older brother had received one as did my older sister. After 40 years of being away from the church, I purchased one for myself and wear it faithfully along with my sister’s miraculous medal and a St Benedict medal and do my utmost to pray the rosary daily.

We as children got enrolled in the brown Scapulars when we received our First Holy Communion or Confirmation long ago. Then in Knock about twenty years ago a Priest in Confession said to wear the Brown Scapulars so I do. The Miraculous Medal also necessary. Holy Water blessed in the Latin Rite a great Sacramental. I would have remembered I’m sure, and I would have treasured the scapular and worn it all my life thereafter, so perhaps here in Scotland that particular devotion was not a part of the First Communion. However, I have enrolled in it myself since then, many years later in fact. It’s a gift indeed.

We do a 24 hour adoration and Masses of reparation to the Two Hearts (to the Sacred Heart on First Friday night and to the Immaculate Heart on First Saturday morning). Try to get your parish to do this.

We always did in my parish in Las Vegas too. I miss that Diocese. We had Adoration and Latin Mass and also Mass at the Carmelite Convent. My 3 sons and I had glorious experiences. We were Episcopalian and then I was confirmed Catholic and they had First Holy Communion and Confirmation when the appropriate ages. Praise God for His love and protection.

Powerful calling out to Catholics to pray the rosary, Robert. Your channel is uplifting really. I got my scapular many years ago, & it was blessed by an FSSP priest. I got it sent to me from the Carmelite nuns in the USA. I still wear it day & night & it has never broken, not the stitching has never undone. Every Catholic should wear this scapular. Recently my husband and I were enrolled in the brown scapular, and I decided to begin reciting the Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In less than a week, I was in Adoration and received a very strong message from the Lord. "It pleases me." That's what I felt Him say. It's a beautiful devotion and I don't ever want to stop knowing that our Lord made it clear that He is pleased by it. Try it if you can. God bless! 🙏

It breaks my heart that my children and grandchildren do not belong to the church (they just walked away) and have been massively influenced by the secular world. I have given them rosaries but they do not pray them. I pray for them every single day! I wear the brown scapular always as does one of my sisters. Her family is the same way, the kids and grand kids. Please pray for all those who do not see, do not hear, and do not listen.

The main church where I live has a Fatima Chapel, and Our Lady's statue there is from Fátima. It's very special, because Our Lady's face changes. Sometimes She blushes, or looks sad, or happy... depending the current situation.

I went to Hanceville Alabama in July 2019, and we went to mass down in the chapel. It was the first and last truly beautiful and reverent novus ordo my kids and I have ever seen..we still talk about it. My son and I have recently been enrolled in the brown scapular. I’ve read that if one is enrolled they aught to be praying the little office. I’m having a hard time making heads or tails of it, beautiful as it is. Someone told me recently that they believe Francis’ heart will be converted soon, and that he will credit Our Lady specifically, that it is part of her triumph, and that he would be martyred as he is the Bishop in white. 🤷‍♀️. How truly wonderful that conversion would be to witness, what joy! Until this I struggled so much to pray for Francis..

This past July I just got my kids enrolled in the scapular. My dad was the one who always had scapulars. But passed away in April. He had dementia and was not doing well around Easter and the first thing I noticed was he wasn't wearing his scapular. I frantically looked around for another, and wrapped around his Lady of Fatima statue was his last scapular. He died about ten days later. It just dawned on me that Mary was keeping that one for him. Now I'm the one with scapulars always offering them to whoever will wear it.

Does the three hearts stand for the most Holy Trinity? Like St. Patrick taught the pagans a long time ago about the Holy Trinity by picking a three leaf clover that look like hearts and showing them God's Truth and love, as i once read or was told. @@parysethibodeau9474 No. I just press it and let it dry under my shirt. As for the appearance, it's folded in two, but it's still a valid scapular. I know someone who puts it in a plastic covering to go in the shower. But I like simple methods.

I keep mine from wearing out too quickly by making a little cotton drawstring bag and inserting my scapulars and some medals inside. The cords of the 2 scapulars ( brown and green) are still round my neck .

Researched that beautiful scapular with the three hearts and they are closed for awhile and not taking orders. I’ve had three last year s as bd they fell apart each within a few days of wearing them. I’ve not tried any longer this year so far to find a strong one I may start to pin them on my bra steps as my grandmother did. She was a seamstress and couldn’t keep one in repair.

A polish full blood sister Sr. Martin Ksycki as always said to have the brown scapular on you. But you don't have to wear it around your neck 24/7. Sr. Martin Ksycki always said you have to only make sure it on your body 24/7.

Could something be done about eucharistic ministers blocking the congregation from receiving communion from a priest. I've noticed that only a few people get to go to the priest. If eucharistic ministers could stand beside a priest rather than go halfway down the Isles we might get more people going to mass. As a 70 yr old i was accustomed to receiving on the tongue only. Ministers handling the eucharist was a sacrilege in my day.

A priest already did the proper blessing to that Scapulary but is not the brown one is a metallic medal. Maybe is the same no?
