My daughter broke her ankle the day before we got enrolled in brown scapular. She was in severe pain and was admitted to hospital. I was desperate when I knew she needed surgery immediately. I had been waiting for months to get enrolled. I cried and knelt while praying rosary and asking our Lady to help. My daughter's pain stopped right after I finished praying. She was discharged from hospital the next day. So all of us were able to attend the mass on the feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel. We were enrolled on the day🎉

Nice Explanation Father I wore the Scapular since I was 13 and now I am 15 and in my entire life I never felt this Happy and Confident before wearing the Scapular.I am a Gen Z for my opinion It is not true that Gen Zs are losing Faith cause I am a Gen Z I am born in 2006 and I Pray the most to be reunited with God in Heaven Someday When I grow old and Die.

I just ordered my scapular, and also for my parents, as I was trying to order a branch came crashing onto my balcony which temporarily distracted me because I needed to investigate. Then as I continued a bird crashed into my window which also caused delay and distraction. The devil tried to stop me from ordering them, but it didn't prevail, and there is nothing that will prevent me from receiving them. Thank you Blessed Mary my Mother ❤️✝️

....A Mother clothing her little child....how beautifully said. I wear the brown scapular 18 months now, it has changed my life drastically, it is comforting to know the immense love of Mary, and the great grace, in which Our Divine Mother has brought me so close to her so Jesus, such a deep warm feeling .is not the word, ...a "knowledge" ..to love Mary and Jesus and to know both give in return so much love..❤. As a +50 year convert from quasi protestantism ... the church at times still seems very strange ... the beliefs and practices overwhelming ... and clear instruction very hard to get. One can study of course ... but where to take the questions? Parish priests are super busy ... on line experts become well known and then they are hard to reach as well. One can get into a study group ... CAREFULLY ... but their opinions may not be valid or distorted for emotional reasons. .... etc. I love the Surrender Novena Prayers ... Jesus I trust in You, take care of everything. That I learn what You want me to learn ... and not worry about anything else.

You'll see in no. 2 of the Rite for the Blessing and Enrollment in the Scapular of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, approved by the Holy See in 1996, that "Priests and deacons have the faculties for blessing Scapulars; other authorized persons may enroll the faithful." I was told by a religious it’s a good practice to have two scapulars to always use one, even in the shower. Just in case we died, let’s not change the faith to accommodate to the spirit of the age!

Thank you for this video. I wear the brown scapular, but I do have a couple of doubts, and I hope you can help me. I have read that the Simon Stock story may not in fact be historically accurate, which would mean that the basis for the brown scapular would be invalid. And then there is the question of the lay version of the scapular, which I cannot find any basis for in private revelation. Papal declarations such as that of Pius XII or others, do not carry the weight of even private revelation. So you have some information or insight that could be helpful? I wear the scapular as a personal act of devotion to Our Lady and as a reminder to myself of that connection. Maybe that has to be enough.

You raise good questions, Daniel. From my understanding, private revelations have absolutely no weight unless they are affirmed by the Church. This is the beauty of the brown scapular. It has been affirmed over the centuries (both for religious and laity) by many different saints, popes, and magisterial documents, such that whether or not the story of Simon Stock is historically accurate (which personally I believe that it is), we can be certain that devotion to the brown scapular will help us to grow closer to God through the intercession of Our Lady.

Santina, there is no need to save the scapular until you think you might die. By wearing it now, you can receive the many graces that God wishes to give you through your faith in Jesus and love for Our Lady. God will use your devotion to His Mother through wearing the scapular to strengthen you in your prayer and good works. Plus, we never know the day or the hour when the Lord might come for us!
