Hello everyone. Please discuss this proof and any solutions in the comments. I know this is a matter that affects many of us emotionally. Any insightful ideas could help here.

if wisdom DID have an effect, the question we should be asking ourselves is WHY? what is the purpose of wisdom having an effect? Would the player base consider it fair to do that? When designers create an encounter they must ensure that it is accessible by all players willing to put in the effort. So for example.... this event is the same on all servers including the servers that are brand new where players have only been playing the game for a few weeks. On those servers the event would be unbeatable, and THAT isn't fair. It needs to be beatable by any player, and even a pay to win player wouldn't be able to complete it on a brand new server if max ascension was necessary.

My Guild Master said it didn't. He said only the buffs really made a difference. Thanks for the tips all throughout this event! :)

as a game developer i found it unlikely that wisdom had any function to play in these events. I'm glad you got to the bottom of it.

Yes that was also my suspicion. I think additional skins do matter. Often saw heroes in new skins I do not have with much better results.

I am not sure about the skins. I would be surprised if they matter but who knows ;-)

How about Skins? Do they matter? Ive seen many guides where Chabba is in their cat skin for example and for the life of me, without the skins I do not seem to have the same results as some guides.

i don't know why peoples are convinced that Tree of wisdom matter on events. It was already confirmed for previous events also but no one say this. Thanks to give right information ;-)

Hey, thanks for your comment! I haven't seen any proof of this during last events. Some players and KZbinrs might have talked about this but as far as I know there was no official statement or lets say answer from support team that stated one way or the other. Do you know of such a thing?

100% agree .. i beat 270 boss with 60 buff .. and my Tree of Wisdom its just at level 15 .

Almost everything has been said. As stated, patronage will affect the sequence, even one which should theorically yield a better result (mainly Albus on Heidi, yielding higher ennemy energy gain and not only higher damage dealt). Only the "justice" buff issue isn"t sorted here, I obviously faced it with the Rufus/Cornelius team by going straight from 75 to 90 buff :; Markus ended falling easier, with a systematic fail as a consequence. In the end, I passed 270 with 120 buff, leaving me quite some resources due for refund as Heidi Dolls (16 total expected) with a far from perfect journey. Sorry if my english isn't perfect.

i dont know if i went super lucky , but today i win the 270 root of evil with : thea (mara) heidi (albus) sebastian (rufus) markus (axel) chabba (oliver) only 70 buff and 5 tries, and my wisdom is very low too. do u have any videos explaining what tank to choose to level up, or any tank is good to level up like galahad for example.

I said from the beginning that the tree does not matter, because the lowest players in my guild are the most successful ones with the event

To be honest I thought the tree does matter for quite a long time but reading some of the comments here in KZbin made me question that assumption. Great to hear that actually the lowest players of your guild had the most success!

@@CorneliusSecrets The lowest players in my guild beat 260 without buffs and 270 with 15-30 buffs, whereas higher players require on average 60 buffs. If the tree works, it probably works in the opposite direction :D

@@CorneliusSecrets Thats a confirmation bias on a known issue of this kind in the game (combat training at max level), which is or was poorly implemented in this regard (and still is overall : why on earth would I train against myself or max level for a GW/CoW fight where the oppenent is neither?)

I'm not a highly knowledgeable gamer where development is concerned. But I do definitely feel there is some sort of scaling going on in events as well as Campaigns and Adventures. Perhaps it is not about damage dealt, but maybe related to health and/or healing. I do notice that when you view the stats at the end of a fight, you will most often see the enemy has received much more damage throughout the battle than it would normally take the same enemy in a different environment to be defeated. The power scaling could be related to any one or more things such as best team Power level, Ascention, Tree, etc. Please discuss as I am also very interested in this subject :{)

I did not use the arena power ups because I got to first place without them. If this wasnt the case this is what I would do: Play at a time where not many players are online usually. Then wait till after the next full hour (because right before the next full hour there are much more fights for the top places). After the next hour starts use as many buffs as needed to get to place 1 quickly. If you start far away from place 1 try to use as few buffs as possible to get to higher places so that you have enough buffs left to defeat the top players. If you are too slow you risk to get attacked during this process. But if you are too quick you might make mistakes. So do it as quick as you can while being still mindful enough to win. For the 270 price red Gift of Dominion: Use it on a hero that just completed red +1 and has no item equipped on red+2 stage. Also use it on a hero for which the red +2 items are the most difficult to get for you. I hope this helps!

OK, Tree of Wisdom does not matter ... but I still can't seem to beat these Boss levels with these teams. Even buffing up to 50 yesterday. I'm stuck at lvl 250 boss. My Jungle Justice buffs seem to have cleared overnight, so I'll have to buff up again, and give it another go. I suspect that skins matter, seeing Markus has his winter skin on in your video. I have tried the same team many times, but haven't been able to defeat lvl 250 yet.

The justice buff is a double bladed sword : there are litterally breakpoints at which you get (sometimes considerably) worse odds to win, eventually forcing you to get up to the next favorable beakpoint. I faced one such "wall" going from 75 to 90 buff for lvl 270. I hope you will succeed in the end, with all the information available, I think anyone should be able.
