or when criminals swap your SIM. That's why I refuse to enable 2FA on my apple ID. Apple keeps annoying me to "upgrade" my Apple ID (ie. enable 2FA) and I keep rejecting it.

The trick for these scams to work is for the scammers to know exactly what they are looking for. As long as we keep a good eye out for anything suspicious we can usually avoid any of these scams.

this isn't hacking. It's social engineering. You can spend a trillion $$$ on technology and still unable to protect stupid users.
