I like his performances on Firefly. Those songs are so straightforward rock that wouldn't have fit Byron's voice as well. By same token, Lawton wouldn't have sung The Park or Sunrise or Salisbury or Paradise or Confession or Circle of Hands or Tales etc. as well as Byron. I love the version of Free Me off this Live album.
