agree with it. but to be honest i prefer Indonesia have same trait like egypt and river. i mean indonesia is on Ring of Fire . ring of fire is characterized by active volcanoes and frequent earthquakes. so Indonesia had experienced so many earthquakes, tsunamis, and active volcanoes. even indonesia have top ten volcanic eruption in the world. so it will look better if they have ability survive from volcanic eruption just like egypt abilities to survive flood or else and have bias. example Mt toba explosion, Mt Tambora, Mt Krakatoa can efect climate. so maybe it will cool if they have mod volcanic eruption effect food, plantation and harvest in all map.

@@UrsaRyan Best tile improvement in the game imo. They compete with nothing, they can only go on tiles that are otherwise useless. Other strong improvements like Stepwells crush tiles you might want for something else.

Because if you take the money up front: 1) the AI doesn't have the option to steal it from you if they declare / emergency 2) you can spend it straight away. Civ is a snowball game. Slightly less now is much better than slightly more later

The other great thing about Jongs is you can use them to speed up settling. They grant their movement speed to escorted units, so you can cut settling time in half during the mid game.

You should settle before picking up the tribal hut. Stuff like free builder or free pop requires a city to be present. By picking up before settling, you deny those chances

23:06 yo Ursa you could plug in professional army and do all the upgrades and then switch government on the same turn to immediately replace the cards! This is also works for things like buying tiles with 20% off, buying a builder before getting rid of serfdom… a bit of min maxing for sure.

Do you think you've torn down and rebuilt to the point where you won't get the "soft lock"? I had it so bad at one point, I had to reformat, and rebuild my Civ 6 install from scratch.

Yeah I tried rebuilding the game, no luck - I think we isolated it to the save file and the map

I play Civ 6 on Nintendo Switch and haven't had this problem so far but then I guess that's probably because of the lack of mods? I played Civ 5 on my laptop tho (which no longer supports Steam as it's Windows Vista ((yeah it's nearly as old as me!!)) lol) and I did experience the odd soft lock on there after I started downloading various mods so I'm guessing there's some coding that's slightly 'off' in one of them... either that or Ursa is just so damn good that the AI can't keep up or just outright refuses to be humiliated any longer...!! 🤔😂

I love Indonesia, faith eco civs are so powerful. At 21:44 voting for city centre buildings..isn't that risky, giving a boost to wall building when you're planning an assault? Maybe it always goes through so you might as well get the diplo for being on board (I do not know the congress voting patterns) - we'll find out next vid!

Civ actually has this exception to the rule where if it is on an entirely separate landmass, a city can be founded with only 2 tiles in between, rather than the normal 3 tiles. So even though the map tacks don't show it, he can still settle on that island.
