you should talk about: weight, inner reflections, infinity focus possibility, sharpness, mount stability on both sides and click mechanism. + vignetting & max supported lens weight.

Other than saying they plant trees they don't seem to offer anything above existing adapters in the price range like K&F. The internal surfaces appear to be on the shiny side so potential for reflections. I don't see any flocking or baffling. Is the adapter on the short side like most of them so infinity focus occurs before the infinity marker on the lens?

hey Michael, why do you think there is such a big difference in price between this Urth adapter and the original Nikon one? Urth here in Canada goes for about $80 and Nikon for $330!! is there anything I need to be aware of? thx,

Hey! I haven’t tried the Nikon adapter so I really can’t tell why it’s so much more expensive.. The Urth does what it’s supposed to do though. I’ve used it a fair amount on both L-mount and MFT and I’m really happy with the build quality and functionality. I’m sorry that I can’t help you more 😅 Good luck!

Thank you! It moves smoothly but it isn't changing the aperture! It's just engaging the aperture to function on the lens itself! Hope that explains it :D Have a nice day!

i ordered one nearly two weeks ago now, how long did it take for you to receive yours? my shipment hasn’t moved at all in a week and a half

I think that it was the same for me. Nothing happened for a while and then, all of a sudden it just arrived. Maybe it took 2 weeks or something like that!

Modern lenses are not better - I feel sure that's just a myth. Instead, I believe the software is calibrated to assist the sharpening for each lens with a ROM identifying chip inside. An old professional lens will still out perform many new lenses, for example, even those with aspherical surfaces and acrylic materials.

Modern lenses are better. They’re far sharper without software calibration, much better flare control and better anti glare coatings. Generally better control over aberrations and many of them now have HUGE front elements so that helps reduce vignetting.
