Hi guys, I tell my experience: the only way to get rid of "shaky" footage is to keep IBIS stabilization on my GH5ii. I turn off all the other stabilization but I keep the one in my Leica 12 60 lens. If I turn off all stabilization I have that shaky footage. I hope this can help someone solve this issue.

I have the three lens in your video, while they work well on micro 4/3 they are far from the only ones that you need unless you want to limit what you photograph. I have several different bodies from Panasonic and Olympus In 4/3 . The G9, G95 and OMD EM1 MKII and MKIII also Em 5 MKIII, ALONG with the three Sigma lens I also have a few primes and zoom lenses from Panasonic and Olympus to round out my collection from ultra wide angle to telephoto as I use them for event, wildlife and landscape photography. Each camera system I have including Pentax and Fujifilm has the same range of glass.

Hi James! Of course everything is different for different types of shooters but I've made the first part of my career as a videographer with these three lenses only. They basically cover the classic most used focal lengths, provide excellent image quality and are exceptionally cheap for what you get. Thanks for watching!

I have just subscribed after watching your "Sending my Gimbal Back" video. I followed your instructions with my jittery RS3. It seems quite good now but I haven't tried it outside yet. I loved your presentation and thought you seemed like a genuinely nice guy, with a good sense of humour. I will be checking out some more of your videos and hope to see more content in the future. I hope you regain your enthusiasm soon. Sorry to hear that you have been so down during the past year.

Thank you Bill! I really appreciate your kind words! I'm slowly getting some energy back but right now my work is taking a lot from me too. I'm hoping to make some new videos soon since I've evolved in filmmaking alot in this past year. I've now got a large studio space together with two colleagues and we're aiming to land some bigger clients going forward. I've got some interesting things to do videos about but I'm always criticizing myself and asking if the content is good enough and if I actually contribute to the community with my videos. So thank you so much for you kind words, it made me gain some confidence and I'll hopefully get some time to do a video soon! Thanks for this video, loved the way you talked us through the problem. I'm only disappointed that you did not solve the problem. I am having the same problem with my Ronin RS3. I chose it because I imaged the DJI products to be superior. It's always so disappointing when you cannot achieve what is the sole purpose of a stabilizer, i.e. Stabilization!!! It makes me nervous every time I use it because I know I'll need to stabilize in post.

Could you please compare the rear LCD for manual focusing? The focus peaking is difficult to see on the original S5 when shooting in 4K (compared to 1080) and is even worse at 4K / 60
@Naumachia Жыл бұрын
Hi Tony! I agree, the focus peaking on the original S5 was terrible. I just did a quick test to see if there was any difference. When I set both cameras (S5II & S5) to 0 sensitivity the S5 II is much more clear with where the focus lies. Partly because of the resolution of the screen but I think that Panasonic must have changed something about the focus peaking. The first week after buying the S5 II I almost regret it. But after testing it out and comparing more features against the OG S5 there's so many little things (but important) that Panasonic has improved on which makes the S5 II a far superior camera. So if focus peaking and LCD-screen was one of the things holding you back - They are both improved and much better than on the OG S5 according to my eyes. Thanks for watching!

@Naumachia2 жыл бұрын
It's a NiSi Black Mist 1/8th and yes you can pair it with an ND-filter as long as you don't go too wide with your focal length! I've had some problems with the outer filter showing when going 20mm on this lens so I usually just stick with one. But if you're on a 24 mm you should be absolutely fine. Thanks for watching!

Is there a reason why people are so easily manipulated? Its really not "mind bogeling" at all, you can get a used Sony or Canon way cheaper that still outperforms this (and you probably already have the lenses - Who has L-Mount :). People are almost talking about AF as if it´s a new invention? it´s just getting to stupid, sorry.
@Naumachia2 жыл бұрын
You are entitled to your opinion just as much as anyone else! As am I :) Honestly I'm super happy with having a AF that's 1000% more reliable than it was before. If you're not a Panasonic user I understand it might sound strange but they've got so much other things going that the other brands doesn't even touch. Shutter angle, anamorphic support, best IBIS in the industry, awesome exposure tools, super efficient V-Log which is so much easier to grade and better IQ than much more expensive cameras. When you pair that with a AF system that's close to Sony and Canon it can't get better. Keep shooting with what you're shooting with. As long as you're happy and don't hate on others just because they get features they've longed for!
