I'm foggy on how I used to do it, but I don't think it was that tough (I imagine you'll find it and be able to replicate just fine). 2:00 Da bes. 2:48 Tony Jaa would approve. 3:09 For the glory of King, Shao Kahn, etc. Too bad we can't go full Tetsuzanko like Bayonetta (standing version without need for running start **Jaycee also uses it**). 3:49 It would be pretty neat to gain projectile parry with enough investment so that it returns to send with the normal counter (if done with good timing, mind you). Just imagine the horror of explosive bolt guys getting their shit sent right back at them. Would be even more fun if you could pull away from the auto-return to sender (directing it in the general direction of others to some extent **making the explosive arrow guy a total tool**). NOTE: The ability to just briefly turn into a phantasm (wraith) that cannot be hit nor attack people would be a neat trick for avoiding an incoming threat. Just going intangible. Would make get-aways even easier. The ability to run through the living completely (though not so much objects unless as a distinctly separate version **for one of those charged hit inputs we don't have assigned yet, maybe**). 4:54 Not far off from how I'd want a Ground Brutalize, really. I imagine you're not going to bother with 'from above' off Graugs as they are the same. I can't remember if "Knockdown" does even a tiny bit of damage (such that someone could die from it). Technically, Flurry does slight damage, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone die from the rapid slashes. I imagine the Caragor leap-off will get shown (as it is clearly a unique thing). 5:22 The ability to poise one hit during grabs (be it to the enemy or directly) might have been a nice unlock. Don't lose control so eaisly and don't have progress reset during shanking or Drain. NOTE: With all these extra abilities to dump points into, it would take quite a lot longer to get everything. Some might even consider just making a reasonable build with stuff they might want rather than stopping to get everything (and using precious little). Hard to say. I'd like a 'try' before buying option, but that would take more loading, I'm sure. The videos are already much appreciated (great that now even Uruk traits are shown this way). 5:31 Might be a good topic for a video. Terror infliction. How one can cause it (all means), losing strengths, and what it means for combat (can use stealth kills, instant kill with a projectile, etc.). I wonder if this video will cover DLC options. 5:58 This quaking backhand is like some Bruce Lee "Why did you kill my master" shit. Love it. 6:45 Takes quite the mob to beat one into submission. 7:02 I wonder how much damage this does in the raw. Fear/Hate of structures would be silly. Where Gravity is concerned, Fear/Hate of Heights (by ledges with long falls) could be a cute ability. 7:27 Plenty of ways to arrange the fire to be sure. And it was a "Hot-Head" of all people that moved along. Of course it was. NOTE: Not sure why some bonfires stay light and others don't when someone goes into them. I think it just might be a size difference (large ones don't run out unless detonated). 7:51 Fair few options for this, too. An ability to light our sword with a bonfire (using it up) could be nice as a temporary buff bypassing need to get high hit count (and charged). If it actually burned things (or had a chance too), all the better. 8:28 Shame that charged fire arrows don't explode even to the level of Uruk explosives (bypass 'hardened' types). 8:37 These are ungodly strong. Hate of Fire isn't always enough to save them. Though SoW has Fire Immune lads, so that's something to mull over. 10:03 They take to the tickle like a steel folding chair. This interference is straight out of a wrasslin' playbook. Ultimate Warrior was making a comeback, too. 10:34 Have to take care not to get fucked by the projectiles during meat shield. 10:49 I love that you have the sense to use brief Drains to hold things in place. 11:05 Perfectly executed. Had to be careful not to get caught in the blast yourself. 12:14 I tend to forget about bow runes like this one. I wonder if the AoE counts as 'range' damage. NOTE: I think you could land the stun and even fire off throwing daggers if you manage to actually hit a 'range immune' type. Might be wrong about the fire, but I know I could land the stun AoE. 12:28 I don't remember this one. Fire arrow combined with Pin in Place? Another chap below speaking of the special Graug vomit on fires acting like Detonation (can't remember if it works on Morgai Fly nests like your flame arrow). 12:37 A personal favorite. What it can do for you is no joke. Just ask the Graug boss. 12:55 Teamed with this one. Caragors will hate you. 13:18 No respect. I suppose you'll run over them with a Graug, too. 13:54 Don't think I killed any this way. Love using their pins to hide inside or on top of. Just high enough to mount a Caragor, knockdown foes from, etc. Blocks enemy vision (can't see through it), too. Things just don't want to go far inside. 14:07 I believe even a simple melee attack (perhaps only the sword) can knock it open. 14:38 I remember this not being super damaging (though I'd like it to be). Would be nice if there were some kills where bodies explode into gore (like when this entire creature lands on them). Turn them into a bloody stain like when things get crushed in doorways in DOOM. 14:57 So does this work just like the Caragor one, then? I suppose I misremembered being able to do Brutalize or Drain/Brand from off the thing. 15:11 What teamwork. 16:05 These things were slick as all Hell. 16:18 The burning version was just ridiculous (I don't think just running through fire would count for the same thing, sadly). 17:13 Not sure I ever bothered to weaponize this trick.

It’s been a long time this was my first game to 100% and killing captains were way easier because they couldn’t adapt and when they were by the self all you have to do was flurry into ground finisher to execution and you would repeat that.

i have been playing shadow of mordor for ages now. and it seems like killing a captain using the flurry kill has a change for either the head will pop or not. it's a clever thing that monolith do actually. cause that means that orc might have a change to cheated death.

currently playing this again and I'd def recommend getting the perk that let's you use the execution (circle plus triangle) twice.(any of the combo moves really) Combine that with being able to get it after only 5 hits, you dominate any war chief.

I love your channel man. Indeed: it's one of the greatest game made by the industry. You know what.. I bought SOM few years ago and played once and kept in cabinet for all this time. For some reasons, I didn't like it then. & now Just few weeks ago idk how but maybe I stumbled on your channel and saw some SOW videos, was amazed and to my luck I saw a cheap deal for SOW and insta grabbed it. I kept aside SOW now and sticked with SOM these days. With only 4-5% story played so far with more than 12hrs playtime (inaccurate according to me, as I played more than that I guess) Being a working adult, with a family to worry about and playing such a game is difficult. But I believe this one of my favorite grind fest I have ever had. Many might disagree this game has the best grind based gameplay, but that's ok. We all have different choices. Sincerely, I never like SOM even a bit as much I love it now. Can't wait to get back to Middle-Earth.. Thanks to you and your channel. Keep up the great work mate. (subbed you already weeks ago)

You have to brand a captain that is not a bodyguard, then you dominate (grab) him and order him to Murder another captain

I have never seen any Uruk (even Grunts) die from flies. I am mostly convinced you cannot use a nest to kill them as it is. You could shoot it with a fire arrow and turn it into a bomb, though.

That is correct. I decided to leave it out of the video because it is mostly just detonate. I have found a few other ways to kill Captains recently, such as vaulting over an Uruk and hitting them in the head with your feet. So this video is not about every way to kill them anymore.

I just got a really cool kill. I was at an execution and I punch an uruk like 6 feet away from the captain that was going to be executed. The cone that you get from wraith stun when you get a combo killed the captain.

Those are all epic runes. 56 is a sword rune that gives a chance of igniting Uruks on a counter. 57 is a bow rune that gives a small chance of a Flash-like explosion happening when getting headshots. Lastly, 58 is a bow rune, an explosion occours around a Fire Arrow impact point.

Pretty much every Rune drop is random. You just have to keep playing until you get it.
