Gotta love the mono blue player blowing counters on the other 2 players knowing that the last guy has a combo piece in hand

Should be noted, Transmute can only be done at sorcery speed. Considering how many treasures he had though, I don't think it affected much.

Interesting burning all the counters before grindstone

Fun fact, Ethan could've played his Emry turn 1. Instead of adding mana and then casting her, he can start the casting process, "locking" the manacost at U, and then activate the mana ability of the Star to make the blue to cast her. It's the same deal with Lotus Petal. Also, transmuting is done at sorcery speed, though it doesn't really matter when Chandler has a billion treasures!

I see emry in the thumbnail so I automatically like the video before even watching

Why in the world you choose to burn all your counters (Cody) AFTER you saw that grindstone was coming ? Why why ?? Haha

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite edh channels purely because you put out content whenever the other big channels don't, but y'all should seriously reach out to other channels for games,id love to see this channel grow!

I love the part how Cody countered everything that might have interacted with Chandler winning from the other players, was this a 2HG game or does he not know how to threat assess lol

Cody punted super hard, he wasted his interaction on spells that were not going to win the game on the spot like guy you just watched tutor his combo 🤦♂️

seeing a game where most people pass to hold counters up and then they are out of counters and someone wins... its not very exciting is it?

Ah yes, using 2 counterspells om other players when the UW player has everything locked for the past severall turns with 10 treasures on his board. ???
@EisenherzMTG3 жыл бұрын
Not only did the Urza player misplay by burning their counters, but they also have some very questionable card choices (ie LED) and they don't seem to know how to grind value with Urza. -> only on your turn, before your land drop and only if you have enough mana open to bluff interaction and there is literally nothing better to do with the mana.
