Just to clear things up, the C-5 is from Travis and the airport in the vid is LAX. Speedbird never said that this airport is Travis AFB; the reason why it's in the title is because it's part of description of the plane.

Great video channel! But I'm a little confused. And I don't want to seem ignorant as I don't know a lot about Travis. But, what is with all of the commercial aviation flights? There do not seem to be any commercial flights in and out so are these aircraft in for maintenance or something?!!!

They're GE TF39's. PW made a rival 2 those engines, with exact looks and sounds. That's why JT9D looks and sounds just like TF39. TF39 is the Original Engine, the First Ever Hi-Bypass Jet Engine with Fuel Efficiencies. JT9D came later.

this is a C-5C works for NASA To deliver space stuff . Flown by the Air Force . Travis usually delivers space stuff

While this is a fantastic video of a fantastic bird, the airport is not Travis AFB. Travis does not have parallel runways, there isn't any commercial airline traffic on and there are no high rise buildings nearby as shown in the background. But still a great video.

You're right....I use to work on the C5s at Travis. This is not the base itself. The aircraft in the video was probably assigned to Travis.
