The Boeing/McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle series USAF Fighter is the most extraordinary combat aircraft in history. Not only is it the most formidable in combat, and aerodynamic in flight, it is aesthetic in appearance, standing with the Supermarine Spitfire RAF Mk I and Mk V Fighter, the De Havilland Mosquito RAF Light Bomber, the North American P-51D/K Mustang USAAF Fighter, the North American Rockwell B-1B Lancer USAF Supersonic Strategic Bomber, amongst others.
