Hello, PhD in Engineering here. I always thought of UFOs as synonym of tinfoil people until two years ago we were visiting my wife's family cabin up in the Lapland, north of sweden. There it gets so dark that we could see normal satelites passing over one after the other in a rectilineal motion. At some point, in the horizion, two lights of similar light intensity as the satellites appeared doing completely bizarre motions and they were clearly self-propelled. Historically speaking it wouldn't be so strange if US had kept secret such a technological breakthrough, we spaniards kept secret the passage through the Strait of Magellan for 100 years which gave us a complete monopoly over the trade routes of the Pacific and Asia, as well as a colonization advantage on the west coast of America (west side of US was spanish until US took over).

That's an excellent and quite humorous mental image (well done!). But, to be fair, that's two very different sections of the government who plausibly could have significantly different motivations. The whistleblowers are claiming that parts of the executive branch (such as the Pentagon / military / UAP research organizations) are hoarding this information and persecuting people who want to reveal it, while they are being interrogated by the legislative branch (Congress). Not that that proves anything, of course, but it's plausible that Congress (which is made up of elected officials and various people assisting them) would feel very differently than the career military people. If the executive branch were hiding vitally-important information from Congress, that could prevent them from making the most informed decisions, and could arguably threaten separation of powers. I can see why Congress would be eager to hear from such whistleblowers. Counterpoint: until recently, Matt Gaetz was also a member of Congress. If I were privy to secret and incredibly sensitive information about TUO (which I just learned in this video means Technologies of Unknown Origin), I don't know that I'd want to share that information with Matt Gaetz. ...Or, you know, more reasonably, people in the executive branch could be concerned about Congress making stupid decisions once given information, UAPs and NHIs (Non-Human Intelligences) becoming politicized in the dumbest ways possible, or members of Congress (or their staff) who might be compromised by foreign governments leaking that information. Or, of course, the old classic of avoiding mass panic / destabilization. I'm not necessarily saying that's *good* (though I also can't say for sure that withholding information like this is *inherently* threatening the separation of powers), but I can see some possible reasons why it also might not be inherently *bad*. (As much as I am obviously extremely curious, and would personally like to know if there's any truth to the whistleblowers' claims.)

Well realistically, that would be the time that it would crash. We can shoot robots to mars with little trouble, but actually landing them is by far the hardest part. Makes sense that aliens would face that same issue. I've also heard the hypothesis that the UFOs we see are essentially disposable probes that are sent out and only meant to last a limited time, so they could be made more cheaply than the aliens' best tech (this guess often includes the biological aliens - they could basically be some sort of 3d printed clone that is only intended to last for a single mission).

We both saw lights doing things we could not explain (we are both "scientists/engineers") and heard lots of stories. You have been blinded by Hollywood and other media. A clear in-focus photo is ONLY produced in a prepared and controlled environment, by a professional, in a studio where everything is faked. A distant moving object is extremely difficult to photograph. If you don't believe me, try taking such a photo by randomly whipping out your phone and taking a photograph of a passing bird. I liked these NAVY pilot videos a while back where nothing extraordinary can be seen and the pilots talk about objects doing crazy stuff but then they don't in the videos, and they claim all kinds of things they've seen but oh unfortunately can't prove. This is all just the equivalent of blurry black and white photographs of a couple lights from 50 years ago all over again, only for the modern age where everybody has a high-end camera on them all the time yet still can't get a snapshot, but telling tall tales somehow still works.

When I was a kid a whole bunch of neighbors gathered on the sidewalk to point and stare at this strange glowing thing in morning light sky. I got my telesope out to have a look. It was clearly a weather balloon, you could see the instrument package hanging beneath it. The sunlight had caught it in a very particular way making a strange light show. Sabine, it's a long story, but I was involved with ufology around a decade and a half ago... There's too much craziness in it, no doubt about that... And I became a skeptical. But... There's a few really weird cases... The issue is how exactly do you extract evidence from things that happened years ago? (One example is the Brazilian UFO night, that happened in 1986... Objects were detected by radar, then civilian pilots saw them... Then the Brazilian airforce sent fighter jets, which also interacted with the objects and so on... And then the government, a dictatorship at the time, called the press and told everything that happened.) Now, at this exact moment, we're seeing the drone drama, that is happening even in Germany. We don't know what they are either, but everybody is calling them drones now. Anyway, I know nothing. But I'm following what is happening, basically for curiosity. Let's see what happens. As someone who's gone down the UAP rabbit-hole, I do appreciate this video. There is one issue, that is the reliance on the AARO report; When I've seen other scientifically minded people talk about it, it's been called alot of things, but good science it's not. Also, there is a lot of witnesses which we know has been at AARO to testify, yet the report does not account for any of them; Danny Sheehan, Michael Herrera etc. And if I remember correctly, David Grusch did not trust AARO, because they are one of the gatekeepers of this thing, so he went another route to get the word out. Plus, Sean Kirkpatrick, who lead AARO at that point, has since gone to work at one of these companies which is assumed to be involved in this whole debacle. I know the Americans are the most loud people in this sphere, but it's not like these stories doesn't happen in the EU either; Belgian UFO wave 1989 etc. etc. South America does also have a deep history with the subject, but I think we as Europeans are a little bit biased because of the english language

That's my working theory - it's a distraction from a number of developments that the 'powers that be' do not want "We, the People" to notice or question - generally, the fragility of the U.S. dollar and U.S. military - developments that involve vast corruption and U.S. perfidy around the world. I don’t believe aliens can get here. They would need to take advantage of time dilation and length contraction, where a 100-year journey for an outside observer could be experienced as just 1 year-or any much shorter duration-inside the spaceship. To achieve significant time dilation effects, speeds in excess of 30% of the speed of light would be required. Achieving such speeds presents numerous challenges. Reaching those velocities is incredibly difficult due to the immense energy required. G-forces at such high accelerations would be a major problem for any living beings. Colliding with even a tiny grain of sand at such speeds could cause catastrophic damage. Finally, returning to their home planet would pose a significant issue, as time dilation would mean that everyone they know might already be dead. Given these hurdles, it seems highly unlikely that aliens have ever visited us. However, if I’m wrong, and I had to make a wild guess as to how they might have done it, it would likely involve a combination of extremely high speeds achieved by creating a gravity well in front of the ship-allowing it to be in a state of constant freefall and accelerating indefinitely-powered by some exotic energy source, along with the time dilation effects mentioned earlier.

I don't believe there are space capable aliens in our vicinity. But I don't think it is as unlikely as you say. You are basically assuming they have the technology comparable to us, and bodies that are similar in composition to us. Even based on the life and technology we know, it is not that impossible. They might be more like trees, capable of withstanding a lot more than humans, and live a lot longer too. They might be a hivemind species that don't care about individual's well being and won't care if there is no return trip. They can also send advance self learning robots to gather info. They might also be at the scale of ants, and can endure a lot more G's than humans can, while taking a lot less energy to accelerate them and their life support to such velocities. The flying saucers that is depicted in cheap alian movies would hold cities of aliens if they are ant size. These are all speculation of how a visit by aliens would be more plausable than you seem to think with the assumptions of ballpark similarities between life on earth and the alien world, and somewhat similar technology. It would be even more likely if we assume a vastly more superior alien species. They might have achieved warp drives if they are possible, or be able to make traversible wormholes if those are possible. They might have perfected cryogenics too. Even their life form it self might not be as fragile as it is on earth. Imagine a life based not on carbon but something heavier, on a planet with a stronger gravity.

No one is covering all the UDOs (Unidentified Driving Objects), I have seen far to many things traveling our roads and bouncing along mountain & forest trails. Some are completely quiet, others are belching noxious fumes and extreme audio disturbances. There are far to many well documented cases of people being disoriented and even temporarily blinded by bright lights especially at night. Erratic movements and sudden turns on red without stopping can easily support the belief that beings not of this world without even the basic knowledge of our traffic laws are out there. We do not have to look up to find aliens, they are in the lane next to you.

When he was 10 years old, my son also observed a mysterious phenomenon, which he drew for me at my request. He saw a shooting star that was hit head-on by an object and collided with it. I have no idea what he really saw. Our senses typically deceive us greatly.

I have not expected you would cover such topics, but I am happy you do! I am not a scientist, but it always baffles me, how they are talking about UAPs and G forces. If you can create gravity (which I suppose a highly advanced species could) then you can bend time and space. With such technology, travel would be almost instantaneous. Distances loose all meaning and G forces do not play a role, if you have spaced warped around your craft. In theory, completely possible. I've noticed that none of the reports mention rectangular or cubic objects. Also, to my knowledge, there are no rectangular or cubic mints. That can not just be coincidence.

I don't think it is OK for an actual scientist to uncritically air the "actual footage of actual UAPs by actual cameras on actual war planes" without immediately debunking the nonsense. Video 1: This is infrared coverage of the exhaust of another jet. By now I expect there to be millions of similar clips taken over the years. The weird thing here is the footage only includes the segment where you see burned out and clipped footage of the exhaust instead of before and after when you would be able to see it is a jet when it is not flying directly away. Video 2: Some bird flies over the ocean. Later some plane goes by real fast and locks camera on it. The water appears to rush by real quick, just like when you look at something on the side of the road while in a car. Simple math and physics. OMG its a UFO!!! No, not a bird, it's a UFO!!! Look how fast the water is!!! Dear lord, where is the common sense? Video 3: I don't even care anymore, it is the same nonsense. Some guy says stuff in a hearing. He has no evidence, just tall tales he heard. Did he fail the STFU test they gave him? Can he keep secrets? Apparently not. He is so gullible and dumb he is retelling dumb nonsense he was fed. Or he is just lying for fun and profit. Of course, for ratings, go ahead and pretend this nonsense is real. But I expect better from a scientist.

I'm a private pilot in NJ, and lemme tell you, these "drones" flying over where I live, they aren't like any drones I've ever seen. Some looked to be the size of a small school bus. Some appeared to move at supersonic or hypersonic speeds going back and forth very very very fast over the ocean and back again. These drones put out no heat at all according to County law enforcements FLIR mounted camera on their industrial drone. A police officer and a news reporter watched as 50 drones all flew over the NJ shoreline from out deep over the ocean. Here's the flight data from the UAP that multiple pilots reported flying over the area of Bend, Oregon right around the same time NJ's skies started getting swarmed.. In essense it can never be put to rest. Impossible to prove a negative. If you visited every celestial body and found no evidence of life I could say they were out when you called.
