Hi, I have a question. I have a Citizen friend who is getting married to a person with H1b visa. The persons employer has already started the process for green card. The process is in the I-140 step. However, my question is what needs to be done after marriage. Does my friend directly apply for I-485 and work permit? or is there another route that needs to be taken? Thank you for your help.
