So as Australia is apart of the British Commonwealth, its known as the Royal Australian Air Force, On the British Royal Air Force logo it has the blue circle , white circle then red circle. On the RAAF logo its the same but instead of the centre being a red circle, it pictures a red kangaroo to represent the imagine of Australia

Have a look at a channel called Evo Media. It's a serving Rifleman who started off making videos in his own time and now gets asked to make them for various units. Most say his videos are better recruitment ads than what the MOD can come up with. Solid effort with the tash!!

My favorite ad was a British army one a few years back...where it showed people being kept up at night by images of terrorism, then cuts to a scene where the narrator asks "What keeps him up at night?" Then shows a distinctly Arab man waking up in a cold sweat as he hears a door crash and the phrase "British Army don't move" yelled out..... They pulled that one as it offended too many people I guess. still a great ad!

Cool video! Again I think the USMC ad was the best! It was cool to see the landmarks from all over the US. Nice shot of Times Square! The video also had a little connection to Finland. The Gateway Arch in St. Louis was designed by the architect Eero Saarinen who was born in Finland.

The kangaroo in the circle is the Australian airforce rounded, here is some history for you, A roundel is a circular disc used as a symbol. In order to identify aircraft, the Royal Australian Air Force initially adopted the Royal Air Force's red, white and blue roundel. During World War II, when an 11 Squadron Catalina was mistaken for a Japanese aircraft by a United States Navy Wildcat, the red inner circle was removed, but re-introduced after the war. On 2 July 1956, the red kangaroo ‘in motion' was chosen as the most popular centrepiece from a range of other options (including the Southern Cross, a boomerang and a sprig of wattle). It has been displayed with pride, not only on aircraft, but on various promotional material since 1982. The kangaroo within the Air Force Roundel always faces to the left except when used on aircraft or vehicles, when the kangaroo should always face the front of the aircraft or vehicle. Also New Zealand has a kiwi on there's, kind of ironic how they use a flightless bird as a symbol of there air force isn't it

The kangaroo inside the circle is Australia's national insignia on aircraft. Usually, the circle is blue and the kangaroo is red (it's all grey in the low visibility version). You should check out the New Zealand insignia: it's a kiwi (the bird) inside a circle!

When I saw the spider, I recolected one time when I was doing my mandatory service In Finnish Defence Forces. By that time I was allready a Alikersantti, I don't know what that rank is In U.S but I was a squad leader anyway. Well there was like a memorial burying of a Finnish soldier from WW2 Who's remainings was found from some battlefield In today's Russian area from a forest grave and brought back To Finland To he's home town. Well I was In the honorary guard (they didn't even exept anyone below my rank To be there) and while I'm standing In attention a bee flyed IN TO MY EAR and I just had To stay still and stand In attention and Hope that it comes out. I was just thinking that this man gaved his life so I don't care if I get stung by the bee In my ear canal. Remember we are honoring a man Who sacrafised his life so I can live free so I totally couldn't do anything Else but Hope that it Would Come out, and it did eventually. Great videos keep it going and all soldiers are brothers✌️

You need to watch the documentary Jeremy Clarkson: VC the greatest raid of all. It explains the first use of the commando units as we see them today during the second World War. Its free and on KZbin but I don't know if there's any copyright stuff.

RAAF roundel: Originally, the air force used the red, white and blue roundel of the RAF. However, during the Second World War the inner red circle, which was visually similar to the Japanese hinomaru, was removed after a No. 11 Squadron Catalina was mistaken for a Japanese aircraft and attacked by a Grumman Wildcat of VMF-212 of the United States Marine Corps on 27 June 1942. Yeh it looks like a CG spider to me - On a side note, I know in the US you have long ad breaks but in the UK our ad breaks are usually only like 3 minutes long and we have like half the amount of ad breaks you guys do. So each advert is quick like 20-30 seconds so its just another advert for us. Someimtes you do see longer military ads but I also think they are short so they can use the same advert on EVERY platform like facebook, TV, radio etc.... idk just a thought - Another great video!

I read the information about your career, what sort of stuff do you learn when you do subterranean training? Also can you ask to do different training courses in the marines/army or is it stuff that everyone has to do while you're in the military? Also do you get any extra pay if you have more training or capabilities than others?.

My take on this video: USMC recruitment videos never cease to amaze me. You can really sense the overwhelming pride the US Marines have in their beliefs and traditions. I hope you could do a reaction video about Unit 731 (about WWII Japanese Atrocities in Harbin China), definitely something I would look forward to watch in your channel.

The Royal Australian Air Force uses a kangaroo in the roundel and has done so since 1956. Previously the RAAF had used the same roundel as the Royal Air Force but discontinued that during WW2 when a US MARINE Corps pilot mistook an Australian plane as a Japanese one due to the roundel containing an inner red circle. That inner circle was removed during WW2 for that reason and then after the war it was decided to just design a whole new one.

I reckon that was a real spider, I keep Tarantulas and that was a generally harmless species, it could give you a painful bite or may flick its iritating hairs at you but can in no way really do any major damage. It is easy to tell a tarantulas temperament and all they did was let it crawl over this fella without him moving, if it didn't want to do that and thought it was a threat it would have just run away, tarantulas will not chase you or generally come forward to attack (this species anyway) so it wasn't really that dangerous, the only real threat would have been getting the hairs in his eyes because they flick them at you as a defence, but like I said they would have checked the temperament of the spider before hand.
