DR. "RED" DUKE (DVM), and old friend of this US Marshall, is mentioned here as instrumental to the program to have k9 police dogs airlifted to a vet hospital if injured in the line of duty. I REMEMBER HIM! AND WATCHED HIS TV SERIES YEARS AGO! He was an awesome vet, and quite a character. I hope we can find his work online: I know he passed, I have no idea when...
