US Optics TS-25X / TS-20X & Sig Sauer Sierra 3 BDX + What you didn't know

I have the ts5-25 also and have been struggling to find a sun shade wondering it the one you installed in the video was screwed all the way in, or will it always show that small gap between the objective end and the sun shade?

@@theYCB i have a honey comb, not just a sunshade. The gap you see on mine sits a rubber o-ring

@@dusty_five_2 okay if you were to take off the rubber o ring would it thread in more and be flush with no gap?

@@theYCB There is plenty more threading for the piece to twist onto the scope. I don't want to ruin the o ring. I've seen guys with Arken Optics without a gap.

I have the same exact Sig scope as you do. Do you have the website that I can order the honeycomb sunshade to fit the Sig scope? I’ve been looking all over the internet since last year.

If you watch closely, sunshade fits on the US Optics not the SigSauer.

@@purgy3332 The honeycomb reflective device is for a U.S Optics B-17 which will fit onto a TS-20/25 U.S Optics scopes in 50mm objective lens. I would buy it from Optics Planet as they are reputable, upfront with what's in stock/back order, and reasonable shipping time. There's nothing you can add with the SigSauer Sierra BDX scopes unfortunately. Cheers 🍻

For some reason I can’t add the link for what I found to be compatible with the Sig. I found a ARD on eurooptic and the sku is 50ARD-001BK1-Tenebraex. In case you wanted one for yours as well.

I'll just leave my sig scope as is. I personally prefer the US Optics. However, I do luv' the sig range finder as it gives the elevation and wind corrections in both mils & moa. Thanks Cory ☕

Can the removed ring be still used if you want to put it back?

Yes it can be, granted you don't have blemishes from removal. I think it looks better without the ring piece. Personally, I'd would never go back to standard after having a honeycomb sunblock.
