US, Philippines troops fire Javelins in largest ever joint war games

The United States (US) Army, along with Philippine Army soldiers, held a "Javelin" anti-tank weapon system live fire exercise during the Balikatan38 (BK38) in Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija on Thursday, Apr. 13.
This was part of the Subject Matter Expert Exchanges (SMEE) training for the Salaknib 2023 (SN23) Phase 1.
The live fire exercise was facilitated by "Javelin" anti-tank trainers of the US Army. (MB Video by Juan Carlo de Vela and AFPTV)

Yes, that's the importance of actual Drill exercises, even if we don't own the weapons at hand. In case of war, when we'll be forced to buy them, our troops are already trained to use them. That's one of the reasons we buy the Korean fighter KA 50. Its similarities to the F-16 would make it easier to transition for our pilots when war should break.
